Itinerary

•   Day 1

  Delhi - Mandawa, Rajasthan

  Meet your private car and our expert driver at your hotel or local address in New Delhi to start your tour of Rajasthan this morning. Rajasthan lives up to its literally translated name as the 'Land of the kings'. Start exploring this state of India renowned for its long history of maharajas that left behind ruins of lavish palaces, splendid forts, and imposing bastions that make up a fairytale-like landscape.

  Mandawa in Rajasthan is approx 240 kms from Delhi and take about 5, 1/2 hrs to travel in the comfort of your air-conditioned car.  After checking into your hotel, meet your guide and head out to the streets of Mandawa to visit havelis ( Mansions ) in the city owned by the elite of the city, admire the extravagance of these old historical buildings and street including  jhunjhunwala haveli, which was abandoned and left to ruins.

  Later, make a stop at  Mandawa Fort, the18th-century imposing structure offering stunning views of the town. Your guide will take you around the fort highlighting key historical events and photo stops as you visit interior’s of the fort to explore the beauty of rooms and quarters. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

   

•   Day 2

  Mandawa - Bikaner, Rajasthan

  Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before departing in your air-conditioned vehicle to Bikaner  approximately a 3.5-hours drive from Mandawa (195 Kms) . Bikaner was founded by Rao Bika in 1486, and from its small roots, it has grown into the 5th largest city in Rajasthan, on arrival at Bikaner check into your hotel.

  Later in the afternoon, meet your guide at the hotel and start your tour of Bikaner city, your guide will take you around Bikaner giving you insight about the region's history showing you important places of cultural interest, the Bikaner Camel Research Center, where you can learn about the camel breeds before finally visiting Junagarh Fort.

  Junagarh Fort now has a museum displaying ornaments and weapons of past eras. Junagarh Fort is a magnificent example of architecture built by many rulers through four centuries and is considered one of the precious gems of Indian architecture in the midst of Thar Desert.

  Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Bikaner. 

   

•   Day 3

  Bikaner - Jaisalmer, Rajasthan

  Enjoy breakfast before departing in your air-conditioned vehicle to Jaisalmer approximately a 4.5-hours drive from Bikaner (330 kms). Enter into Jaisalmer and you will get into a time and place where modern world is a distant memory. Sand dunes in the landscape of Thar desert, its desert camps, havelis and forts assures you of a desert holiday where you can literally forget the rest of the world. On arrival into Jaisalmer check into your hotel.

  Later in the afternoon, meet your guide at the hotel and visit the magnificent Jaisalmer fort also known as Golden fort or Sonar Quila. It is second oldest fort in Rajasthan. You can also visit local markets in Jaisalmer before you return to your hotel and enjoy a night stay at your hotel in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.

   

•   Day 4

  Jaisalmer ( Desert Camp )

  After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel start your sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer with your expert guide who will take you around Jaisalmer giving you insight about the history of the region showing you important places of cultural interest including Nathmal-Ji-Ki-Haveli, Patwaon-Ki-Haveli and Salim Singh ji ki Haveli. Later, you will see Tazia tower and Gadisar lake.

  Later in the afternoon visit your desert camp for an unique experience of Thar Desert. Enjoy a photogenic sunset in the desert,  experience a Camel ride, Dinner at the desert camp and watch folk dance performances.

  Stay overnight at desert camp in a tented accommodation.

   

•   Day 5

  Jaisalmer - Jodhpur, Rajasthan

  After an early breakfast, leave for Jodhpur  in your air-conditioned vehicle  (286 Kms / approx 05 hours drive). You will see deer on the way in Bishnoi villages before you reach Jodhpur by afternoon, Check in at your hotel and relax.

  The second largest city of Rajasthan Jodhpur is also called the Blue city. Later today visit Mehrangarh Fort, along with your expert guide. Mehrangarh Fort is one of the most awe-inspiring forts in Rajasthan and also acknowledged as best preserved fort in India.

  Explore the grandeur of Mehrangarh fort, witness a great view of the blue houses and beautiful sunset from the top of Mehrangarh fort before your return to your hotel in Jodhpur for overnight stay.

   

•   Day 6

  Jodhpur - Udaipur, Rajasthan

  Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before you start your drive in your air-conditioned vehicle towards Udaipur — approximately a (260 Kms / 05 hours drive). Enroute visit The Jain Temples of Ranakpur.

  Ranakpur temple was believed to be built under the direction of Seth Dharna Shah with the help of Rana Kumbha, The king of Mewar in the 15th century is situated in Aravali valley and took 65 years to evolve because of the complexity of the temple structure. After your visit to the Jain tample, proceed to Udaipur and check into your hotel.  

  Later in the the evening enjoy a Boat ride on Lake Pichola before returning to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Udaipur.

   

•   Day 7

  Udaipur, Rajasthan

  Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Later, meet your driver and guide at your hotel to start your sightseeing tour of city of Udaipur also popularly known as "City Of Lakes". 

  Udaipur in Rajasthan was established by Udai Sigh in 1568, it is a great historical city in India.  Popular for its Palaces, temples, beautiful lakes, gardens and charming backdrops this beautiful city has beed the destination for many International celebrity weddings and popular Bollywood and hollywood movies including James Bond's movie, “Octopussy”.

  Your expert guide will take you through the important attractions in the city explaining the history and stories associated with the city, you will visit, City palace and famous Jagdish Temple. Enjoy free time at lake Pichola to capture some beautiful moments with City Palaces before returning to your hotel in Udaipur for a comfortable overnight stay.

   

•   Day 8

  Udaipur - Pushkar, Rajasthan

  Venerated as the destination with only temple of Lord Brahma in the world, Pushkar in Rajasthan is a very important pilgrimage site for Hindus. To the rest of the travellers, it is a travel destination that is worth visiting once, twice or many times over. Pushkar has temples and ghats, offering a different kind of holiday experience, one where the spirit is nourished and the soul is rejuvenated. After breakfast at your hotel in Udaipur travel for Pushkar - approximately a 4.5-hours drive from Udaipur (280 kms).

  On arrival, check-in at your hotel and after some relaxation join your guide for a walking tour of Ghats and temples in Pushkar. Please do not forget to carry your camera for these ghats offers some very picturesque back drops of town and Rajasthani culture. Return to your hotel in Pushkar for a comfortable overnight stay.

•   Day 9

  Pushkar - Ajmer - Jaipur, Rajasthan

  Enjoy breakfast at hotel, checkout, meet your driver and depart in your air-conditioned vehicle for Jaipur ( Approx 150 Kms ) but not before you visit Ajmer which is enroute to Jaipur. Ajmer is Rajasthan’s best kept secret. But not to the pilgrims of all religions who faithfully flock to Ajmer to pay homage to the shrine and resting place of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti.

  After your visit to the shrine of Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, proceed for Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Check in at your hotel and enjoy rest of the day at leisure in Jaipur.

   

•   Day 10

  Jaipur, Rajasthan

  The largest and capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur is an 18th-century marvel that was built by Sawai Jai Singh. At one time, it was called the Pink City which referred to the original color of the buildings in Jaipur. 

  Jaipur is one of India's most travelled destinations. It is also part of the famous tourist circuit  'Golden Triangle'. People who want to see the best of India usually start with the Golden Triangle of Agra, Delhi and Jaipur.

  Meet your guide after breakfast this morning at your hotel to start your full day tour of this city which would include visit to the top attractions of Jaipur like City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal and Amer Fort with elephant ride, You will also have some time to explore shopping opportunities this city has to offer before returning to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Jaipur.     

   

•   Day 11

  Jaipur - Agra, Uttar Pradesh

  Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel. Later start your travel to the city of Agra in state of Uttar Pradesh, approximately a 4 hours driver (240 Kms) from Jaipur. 

  Make a stop in Fatehpur Sikri a little ahead of Agra. Fatehpur Sikri is a fortified city built by Great Mughal Emperor Akbar and is a top historical attraction for travellers visiting Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

  Later check in at your hotel in Agra for a comfortable overnight stay.   

   

•   Day 12

  Agra, Uttar Pradesh

  Agra - Delhi
