Pass by the famous Red Fort and visit Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India which was constructed by the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, in the mid 1600. Once you’ve explored the mosque, continue with your panoramic tour of New Delhi or Lutyen's Delhi exploring Rajpath, India Gate, the monument for soldiers of World War I, Rashtrapati Bhavan (President's House), Parliament House, before finally visiting Humayun's Tomb.
Humayun’s Tomb, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Delhi was built in 1570. It has a lot of significance for it was the first garden-tomb in Indian subcontinent built during Mughal time. Humayun’s Tomb also served as an inspiration to several major architectural innovations later in the Mughal times culminating in the construction of the Taj Mahal in Agra.
