  • Arrival Zurich, Switzerland

    On arrival at the Zurich Airport. Validate your Swiss Rail Pass and board an onward train to Zurich city.   • Zurich ( Visit Interlaken & Jungfraujoch )

    After breakfast proceed for your visit to Interlaken and excursion to Jungfraujoch. Board a train to travel to Interlaken, connect to either Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald, from there change to Wengernalp Railway, which will then take you to top of Europe ( Jungfraujoch is the highest peak in Swiss Alps ) via Kleine Scheidegg.

    On the Top of Jungfraujoch, spend the day on your own exploring the various attraction like the largest glacier in the Alps - Great Aletsch Glacier, Ice Palace, Ice Gateway and Sphinx Observatory which is one of the highest observatories in the world. Later, return via Kleine Scheidegg to either Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald and further down to Interlaken using you Swiss Rail Pass.

    Interlaken is located between the two Alpine Lakes. Take a leisurely stroll in this beautiful Swiss town. Spend the day playing with snow and a ride on the Ice Flyer. Return to Lucerne by train from Engelberg.

    Lucerne is a beautiful city in the heart of Switzerland amidst snowcapped mountains with famous lake lucerne. Enjoy the city walk in Lucerne with its colourful Old Town (Altstadt) and 14th-century Museggmauer city walls, covered bridges including the wooden bridge ( Kapellbrücke ) and Lion monument built in 1821.  Enjoy a cruise on lake Lucerne ( It is included for you would be holding a Swiss Rail Pass ). What are the most popular place to visit in Switzerland in a 05-days tour?

Switzerland as a whole is beautiful. The purpose of most Indian travelers is to experience the scenic beauty of Switzerland and it exists everywhere. There are lakes, snow capped mountains, glaciers, scenic routes, cities / towns / villages. To see these things you can visit some or all the places, however during a 05-Days holiday most Indians visit Zurich (One of the most liveable cities in the world), Lucerne (One of the most visited place in Switzerland), and the beautiful serene town of Interlaken (A small town with a view of Jungfraujoch).

Is Indian food available in Switzerland?

You will find aloo tikki burger in the menus of Mcdonalds in Zurich. Indian friendly food along with masala tea is available for travellers on the top of mountains in Mount Titlis and Jungfraujoch. Zurich, Interlanken, and the city of Lucerne have good Indian restaurants too offering a choice of Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

First step is to seek an appointment for a visa application. You must then prepare the documentation (both Travel and Financial documents). Visit the visa facilitation center and submit your application along with the biometric details and wait for the decision. Please remember to make an application well ahead of your departure date for visa processing may take a lot of time (Minimum 15 working days)

To select the right flight or (cheapest) flights you must go through all airlines connecting to Swiss cities of Zurich and / or Geneva Most popular is Swiss Airways (Direct flight). But almost all european carriers take you to Switzerland, like Lufthansa, Austrian Airways, Air France, KLM, Finnair Turkish Airlines may also offer good connection and fare. You must also check one by one other popular carriers like Emirates, Etihad, Oman airways, Kuwait airways, Saudia airlines. Currently Aeroflot is not available, else it was the cheapest possible option few years back.

If you wish to choose days from 3, 4, 8 or 15 travel days with an overall period of a month, a Swiss Travel Pass Flex is better for you.

Please make sure that you submit your Swiss visa application well ahead of your departure date. During the high season in India, visa processing may take a long time (Minimum 15 working days).
