This Segway adventure will include historical and cultural information about Austin. All groups start off with an orientation followed by one segway rider training. It only takes a few minutes to feel comfortable controlling your Segway, yet we like for you to practice prior to the start of the tour. When all group members give the thumbs up, an experienced guide leads the group to the best spots in town. Choose from 3 departure times throughout the day, each one with a slightly different focus. No matter which one you choose, you'll see the best that Austin has to offer.

Most memorable part of this trip was spending 30 minutes looking for our meet-up spot, just to waste my time. I tried contacting the tour guide to no avail. The meet-up spot Paradise Smoothies has been closed for some time. Please update the meet-up location for future trips.

So I hope who is reading this goes and books a Segway tour from anywhere but La Vacanza Travel! I booked an Austin good morning Segway tour and received several confirmations and alerts it was coming up and a wish the morning of to enjoy my self. BUT the tour was never booked with the local company and all La Vacanza Travel said was they apologize. We spoke to tour owner eventually and they said they don’t deal with La Vacanza Travel and they keep showing and booking it. So basically this review is to say DONT USE VIATOR….im still waiting for a credit and they did nothing to make up for ruining the start of a day with my family and friends!!

This isn't a valid tour, don't book. The operator has apparently lost access to this account so the tickets don't go for anything. I am awaiting confirmation of my refund.

The tour guide didn’t show up at the assigned meeting location. We called the provided contact number and spoke to Juan Garcia who told us La Vacanza Travel had been selling reservations to his tour without his permission and if we wanted to pay him directly we could do the tour. Feel very cheated. Our trip to Austin was soured by this experience.

Carlos led a great tour. We were all totally new to Segways, but he trained us well quickly and helped us all feel confident. He told brief, entertaining stories at the stops and gave us lots of freedom to explore the stops. As an Austin resident, I thought his choice of stops was excellent and my non-Austinite visitors liked them all. He took great pics too. 7/7 would do again
