Easy ride . The 3 hours went by fast both ways. Comfortable bus . Bruges is nice and enough for one day. I think you need more time to walk around and eat (slow service) so the 2 hours you are given to yourself is not enough.

Great time in Belgium! Coach was comfortable, driver was fantastic. We had plenty of time there to learn and explore! I recommend DOM chocolatier for the Best chocolate experience! We chose a trip through La Vacanza Travel, operated by Buendia. We travelled from Amsterdam to Bruges. The meeting place we were given was not actually the meeting place. Close, but not exact. The “guide” did not have any bit of clothing or signage that said Buendia, even though we were told they would. Not one but of commentary was given on the bus, not even “we are now entering Belgium”. We were told that on the way back, we would not be stopping at all. Far too long with no bathroom for some people. Our trip started at 8:30. There was no eating on the bus of course. When we got to Bruges, the walking tour started immediately after a bathroom break and it was not over until 2:30. We left our hotel room at 7:15 in the morning, with no inkling that we would not have another meal until 2:30. Bruges was very busy. I think it was cruise ship day. Our guide walked briskly ahead, talking nonstop. Ordinarily that’s exactly what I want in a walking tour. But our group was large and so were the crowds, so everyone was strung out way behind her. Those transmitters are not meant to transmit so far away. MANY could not hear her. A young man ran up and told her all that but it made no difference at all. Take the train. Cheaper. Bathrooms. Convenient. Don’t take Buendia.
