Benefit from private transfers to and from Gansbaai in a private vehicle with private tour guide/driver and experience sharks like never before with our full-day shark cage diving tour. Note: You will be transferred to Gansbaai privately but will join others in the Shark Cage Diving boat.

Itinerary

After pick up at accommodation in Cape Town, we will travel to Gansbaai which is the most popular destination for the Great White Shark Cage Diving adventure boat trip.

Upon our arrival in Gansbaai, you will receive a briefing of the adventure whilst enjoying a light breakfast. (We recommend that visitors request a pre-packed breakfast from their accommodation.) Following our briefing we will charter a shared boat and set sail on the open seas for an exciting 3 hours of shark cage diving. During this time the crew members will engage the sharks to swim close to the boat so that you can have a close-up view. Please note that all diving gear and equipment are included in the adventure. Once the experience has come to an end we will return to the shore, where there will be warm showers and fresh towels available. We will watch the day's events on a DVD television screen and receive our diving adventure certificates. These DVDs will be available to purchase.

We will then return to Cape Town after the tour via the town of Hermanus with optional to stop at Stony Point Penguins Colony before drop off in Cape Town.

Had a fab experience. Very friendly and professional team. Welcoming and ethical. Only thing that could be improved is using snorkels? instead of having to hold breath to dive but really amazing all the same! Thanks

Everybody goes with the expectative to see the great white shark (as they advertised) but I’m pretty sure that this is almost impossible due to the continuous trips they make on a daily basis to the same spot area ; sharks must be already bored ! ; but….this is something the crew/staff never will tell you, because if they tell you that the white one’s can be seen once in a life time….they won’t have the huge demand they already have for the tour ; business marketing at the end, but what is for sure is that the white shark experience is over advertised by them and this is not completely true… The staff, the crew, the installations, the equipment, the attention, etc ; is quite friendly & professional ; this is what really makes the experience unforgettable ! ; otherwise you can see common sharks at many aquariums for quite less money.

No Sharks in Gansbaai at the moment due to Orcas so was asked if I minded going to Mossell Bay which is further. Well worth the trip where we saw 7 great whites! The views on the drive were spectacular and Jacob the guide was brilliant.

Saludos .
