  • What You Can Expect

Meet the guide and fellow travelers in downtown Denver. Along the scenic drive, pass the outdoor-loving, college town of Boulder, situated at the base of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Follow the road out of Lyons, through St. Vrain Canyon and down into the town of Estes Park. Pass the historic Stanley Hotel, made famous for it’s starring role in the movie 'the Shining.'

While entering Rocky Mountain National Park, experience the wonders that inspired early explorers to push for the protection of this amazing landscape. Catch a view of Long’s Peak, the park’s highest, soaring into the sky at 14,259 feet and the glacial-carved valleys, filled with Aspen and pine trees. The guide will lead the way to the best viewpoints, with plenty of time to hop out of the van and explore.

Summer: The summer tour begins after memorial weekend and ends mid October. Throughout the summer the tour will take you up trail ridge road to 13'000 feet. In the winter the high alpine road is closed and more time will be spent discovering the valley and its crystal clear alpine lakes.

All entrance and National Park fees are included and a sandwich for lunch is provided.

An excellent tour thanks to our guide Taylor. The only possible complaint you could make is that 1 day just isn't long enough to see everything!

This trip was wonderful. Our guide, Austin, made all the difference! He was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of Rocky Mountain National Park, and the surrounding areas. He stopped frequently so that all of us could fully experience the park. Despite the cold, snow, and rain...my husband and I will count this as a treasured memory. Thank you, Austin!

The tour went well as planned and it was amazing. We had a sunny day in autumn so the colors of the landscape were beautiful.
Taylor was an amazing guide! He took us to highest possible point that was open for the last time in the season. Also he drove around looking for his friends the Elks and found them! Everything was over the top :-
