When you feel tired of seeing museums and art galleries, go outside and you will discover that in Florence it is also nice to just stroll through the beautiful streets of the historic center.

The Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore is an imposing Gothic-style church built on the site where the ancient cathedral of Florence stood, the Church of Santa Reparata, the cathedral was begun at the end of the 13th century by Arnolfo di Cambio, while the beautiful dome was added in the fifteenth century. The Piazza has seen the realization of important historical events and great triumphs, such as the return of the Medici in 1530. The famous sculptures located in Piazza della Signoria have references to the political affairs of Florence, with some contrasts. The new square would have given a new character to all the surrounding space, joining Piazza Maggiore. Heart of the city, Piazza Maggiore is the result of centuries-old transformations that enriched it gradually with important buildings: the Basilica of San Petronio, the Palazzo dei Notai, the Palazzo d’Accursio, the Palazzo del Podestà and the Palazzo dei Banchi.

Stefano was very nice, funny and patient He was always checking upon us to make sure if we need to stop for washrooms or anything else. He gave us good adviceand made our 5 days trip smooth and lovely. Luigi was the best driver in all our trip, very professional, very polite and nice, always waiting for us while leaving the bus, take our hands to help us getting down to make sure that we are safe. Very good looking and always smiling to us, saluting us every time we get on the bus. With Stefano and Luigi, we felt that we are in good hands.

This tour is a great way to see places in Italy that are unique and beautiful. Is a medium pace tour with some parts of moderate walking. The optional tours to Pisa and Venice at night are a must to do. With this tour you will get a peak of these cities and this will give you a clear idea of what places to spend more time on your next time in Italy. The bus ride in between places is beautiful and very relaxing. If you haven’t seen any of this places this tour is a must.
