Overview

Have you ever dreamed about flying like a bird without jumping out of an airplane, or running off a mountain top?
Parasailing is the easiest and safest way to achieve that dream. There is no experience or physical skillset required, if you can sit you can parasail.
Parasailing is a fun activity for the whole family, if you are aged 4 and over you can parasail.

Itinerary

When it is your turn to fly our deckhand will fit you with a life jacket and parasail harness (if you are flying tandem or triple your partners with be fitted with their own equipment). The parachute is inflated and flies just above the boats flight deck. You will then be instructed to make your way up onto the flight deck under the parachute where you are safely secured for your parasail ride.

Sit into your harness and enjoy the ride as the captain gently unwinds the rope, slowly lifting you into the Okanagan Sky. Get a bird’s eye view of Kelowna as you reach heights of up to 100 meters, and gaze down at the beautiful Lake Okanagan beaches and surrounds.

Ogopogo Parasail captains love to give guests a dip in the water, so don’t forget to tell the captain if you wish to stay dry. Landing is a breeze, our winch boat gradually winds you in to the boat for a soft touchdown where you are greeted by the deckhand who will guide you down and assist you back to your seat. Parasailing is fun for the whole family and requires no experience and no ability, if you can sit you can fly.

We went with Luke and his crew in September 2023 and again today! They have a top notch set up, amazing crew, very family friendly. Highly recommend!

Our grandchildren came to Kelowna for a visit and we had the most wonderful time parasailing! Quinn and Niko were our hosts and they were so warm and friendly and explained everything very clearly. We always felt safe and welcomed. Being up in the sky with the water below you was such an amazing feeling! We could hardly wipe the smiles off our faces for hours afterwards!

The guys made the experience so easy, safe and fun. We were able to find an activity where 3 of us could all do something at the same time and we can't wait to go back!

It was our first time doing this as a family. I booked our family online before we went there for the actual day. The 2 guys who are assigned in the boat were very great! They were systematic and alert to whatever task that they were doing that time, its very obvious that they know and love what they are doing. I just hope that safety and precautions would come FIRST before doing the activity. No explanation was given to us as a group of 9. We were only asked.to put on the vest, ride the boat and be up in the air without any other explanations like where to hold, how to be stable etc. while youre hanging up there! Lastly, the 2 ladies in the.ticket booth were not accomodating, they only asked us to sign the form away and, put on the wrist band away from them(on grass) and wait until we were called. But they Never asked us or inform us on what to expect or whether we "need" something, clarifications or questions to let us feel more welcome in the booth. We drove in Kelowna just to experience this but we never "feel" the welcoming service in the booth. More details should be given to the customers because most of the time they were on the phone or simply just chatting to each other. Overall I am thankful because my son enjoyed it but for parents point of view, there should be improvements in the service booth and safety explanation/s in case of emergency. Its good to have fun but safety is also everyones concern and good service is also another factor.
