Amazing and inspiring natural realms, especially in contrast to over-the-top man-made Las Vegas. Antelope Canyon was as beautiful as expected---red sandstone lit by some sunlight (not best sun angles in the morning but still inspiring). Surprising was diverse rock formations and cliffs in Monument Valley. Empire Tour guide (Lorenzo) was great and informative---multilingual group with many Italians. Interesting multicultural group.

Fantastic scenery however I wish there was more of an emphasis on explanations of each place rather than being dropped off to shop. Very long periods on bus.

This tour should be called Highlights of Sedona and Monument Valley. I was thinking I would be staying a night in Sedona and a night in Monument valley but we stayed in Motel 6 in Page, AZ. I had heard the the sunrise and sunset in Monument Valley were spectacular which was not possible. Sedona is a lovely place surrounded by Red rocks and people should stay at least a night. One can meditate here and also do a retreat. Just 2 hours here is not enough. Monument Valley was a great place to see and one and half hours was not enough in the jeep tour. A bumpy ride in some places in the open top jeep. Horseshoe Bend was nice to see. Takes about 10 to 15 minutes to go from parking lot and coming back will definitely take around 30 minutes or less because the way uphill when you are back. If you take small children, be prepared Antelope Canyon tour is fantastic. It lasts for around an hour or less and below ground level. In some places only a single person can move and you have to watch out for corners. Also visited Valley of Fire state park and Lake Powell. Remember one must have a good pair of walking shoes, hat and carry water with them everywhere People who cannot stand too much heat have to be very careful. Tipping is a must for the tour guides and driver. If and when i come back here, I will stay a night in Sedona and a night in Monument Valley or Kayenta which is 21 miles away.
