Our full day tour begins in Burford, where the magnificent high street holds every variety of Cotswold stone. There will be time to visit the tea houses and shops.

Stop At: Bibury, Bibury, Cotswolds, England

Bibury, overlooking the River Coln, is described as the ‘Prettiest Village in the Cotswolds’ by William Morris. We will have a short walking tour before arriving at Swan Hotel.

Lunch beckons and what better way to satisfy your hunger than with a fabulous two course lunch in the Swan Hotel situated in the centre of Bibury overlooking the River Coln. The 17th century former coaching Inn serves a fabulous range of traditional cooking, ales and fine wines.

Stow-on-the-Wold is a market town located on top an 800-foot (244 m) hill at the junction of main roads through the Cotswolds. We have free time to shop, wonder around and maybe enjoy a cup of English tea.

This tour was Epic! Of course the British punctuality is always a plus. Everything was On-Time. Carlos, the driver gave us a smooth rise and Alan was a funny and amazing Tour Guide. Cotswold is a beautiful town and so was Bibury. The third stop was sort of like a bonus, almost insignificant. We could have done without it. The place we had lunch was beautiful and the lunch served exceeded expectations. The service was superior and the hospitality a five star. Thank you VIATOR. You have never disappointed in all our bookings with you. I appreciate how you keep me informed and stay in contact to make sure everything goes as planned and as I expect. The Cotswold is stunning but the entire experience would not have been so enjoyable if not for the excellent commentary from our guide, Carol, and patience and professionalism of our driver, Choi.

It was definitely worth a day in the Cotswolds. The group was great. The driver (Carlos) and tour leader (Alan) were great. Fellow passengers were awesome and always on time. Lunch @ the Swan in Bibury was terrible. I’m sure the UK has better food than what we received. All travellers on our table commented on how bad the food was.

Toby and the driver were a great duo for our day in the cotswolds. I would highly recommend this tour with this tour company. Such a fun day and the towns were picturesque!

Fun visiting the Cotswolds with a super guide Nick. He was friendly, funny and full of lots of bits of knowledge about the Cotswolds and their history. He showed us the highlights of each village and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. The lunch in Bilbury was nice. As a solo traveler, this tour was perfect. The coach was comfortable and clean.
