This wasn’t bad but also wasn’t my best spa experience. The workers I interacted with were able to speak English. I foolishly didn’t bring a bathing suit, so thankfully they had a loaner for me. The pools and steam room were very relaxing. I didn’t care for the massage given it was an open, room of others being massaged - men and women. The head rest on the table was a little more firm to my liking.

The actual place was not as pretty as depicted in the marketing photos. To a certain extent, the actual place was dreary and not at all a place to rest and relax. The massage was awful, the masseuse was inexperienced and my massage actually felt like someone just applying oil all over my body.

The staff were helpful and the setting was lovely. My massage therapist was very lovely and the massage was very relaxing.

I delayed posting this review, to give the management an opportunity to address my feedback... But after emailing to them on the 8th December and 20 days later... No acknowledgement... I see it fit to share publicly our experience... On Sunday 6th December @20:00, I made a reservation for two people for Midra 60... This was an anniversary celebration gift for my husband and I... On receipt of the reservation email, it informed us to be at reception at 19:30 for dress room formalities... AT NO POINT was it stipulated that the appointment starts at 19:30... On walking in... The lady said our treatment starts now 19:35 and showed us to the changing rooms... There were delays in the changing rooms... From access to the toilet and time to change into our bathing costumes, taking us about 10 minutes to get out... I AM NOT IN AGREEMENT WITH THE THERAPY starting the moment we walk pass the curtains but instead on arrival at the actual hammam or at 20:00 as indicated from the reservation made... Further to that the website advises hammam bath 45 min, FOLLOWED By body scrub, foam and massage... Mint tea included... The head Therapist or host dressed in white, did not even tell us the formalities of which or what treatments would be happening and what time... She lacked in communicating clearly and showing us the facility services and how the pools work or if we were even first time visitors... She simply indicated to go downstairs, after exiting the change rooms. On arriving downstairs, we enter into the pools, barely 5 minutes in when the massage therapists come to look for us saying we are suppose to be with them... No one explained this to us... So we were under the assumption we had 45 min in the pools... From this moment on everyone was in a rush... Also it makes no sense to have a body scrub, foam wash and oil massage and then enter the hammam pools... entering into them with the body oils... Where is the hygiene in this... And the point to wash off the oil and then open up pores again... With all of this being said... We went along despite sharing our objections and confusion from what is outlined in the website with the massage therapists... And we were simply hoping that this doesn't dip into the time in the pools later... But of course it did... As we only got 20 minutes in the pools later... Before being summoned by the head lady... And after sharing with her that it can't be time up... She argued that it is what it is... from the starts at 19:35 and now it was 21:05... And we can take it up with them upstairs... She exercised NO CUSTOMER CENTRICITY...  The hammam experience can be much more enjoyable... If you take into account the pitfalls of our experience... The massage therapists were amazing... And the pools and setting look amazing too... But the head lady... Should be sent on a workshop to speak with people better and communicate clearly with everyone on what to expect... She should've also pointed out where to have the famous mint tea... As we had none... And the time of 90 minutes should kick in when we enter the hammam... Also there should be clocks around so we can see the time in and across each activity... Or wrist bands to track entry into the hammam showing time and across each treatment... I share with you my feedback in the hope that you will make changes for future clients to have a better experience... This post was emailed directly to the complaints department and NO ONE contacted us in this regard... This shows and tells me that even the management lacks in customer centricity... Extremely disappointed in the lack of accountability by the management...

This is a very unique experience and I loved it. The baths and sauna are not over populated and you feel not having to fight for room. A word of caution, the cold plunge bath takes your breath away lol. But it optional. I found the lighting and music so relaxing and sets a very calm mood. The mint tea that’s offered is very nice too. I recommend this as a calming effect and thorough relaxing time.
