We are the only Billabong Surf School in all of Maui!! We are Kihei & Waileaʼs smallest, most private & exclusive Billabong Surf School. The only way to experience the true Hawaii is on a surfboard. Experience the magic of the ocean like the ancient Hawaiians. 6 to 1 ratio, or less.

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

Meet at Waves hawaii surf school van 5 min before your lesson. There you meet your instructor, sign in, get suited up with rashguards an reef shoes. We do a safety an instruction breifing on the beach an then hit the water where the fun begins. 2 hour time slots.

Surf lessons cancelled an hour before hand. We had been looking forward to this part of our trip for a year. Booked the surf lessons 9 months ago. Woke up this morning excited to surf but got the cancellation email as we were about to head out the door. Vacation is almost over and we are very sad

We had a blast learning to surf! Eddy was a great instructor: patient, fun, and informative as we surfed and waited for the waves. Perfect activity for my daughters that are 12 & 14 and for us parents too. Definitely recommend!

Highly recommend this! Easy to find. Provided shoes, shirt, & boards. Instructor did lesson on land then got us in water quickly. Also helped with safe way to dismount given the rocks. Instructor got us all up & surfing quickly. Also had Elijah taking pics the whole time for purchase. Strongly encourage them!!

Our kids surfed with San and Lucas. Our kids are 8 and 10, they had a blast and wanted to go again the next day. They had lots of rides on the waves, saw a turtle, and just had a blast. We highly recommend this group for kids. Sean took our pictures and did a great job.
