Tour was cancelled due to high winds. Also information given is very misleading. States that what’s included is going to Foxtown for a shopping trip. Boat only goes down the canal and back.

Personal interest on general set up and operators of outlets, brands, etc., and differences and similarities, country to country. As the category implies, these are for selling of non-current, discontinued and residual inventory. As long as one has some idea what one wants and go with an open, opportunistic, mindset, these could result in some good buys. Expect limited choice of colours, sizes, etc. Foxtown (all inside a building), whilst in Switzerland is closer to Milan than Serravalle outlet (outdoor) outside of Milan. Realistic overall rating applicable is 3 out of 5. Some may find this optimistic if they have high expectations, or negative, if they have a good experience.

Cons (listed drom worst to best) - Customer Service contact was un-emphathetic, un-sympbatetic & frankly didnt give a damn about leaving us stranded in Switzerland (or also asking if we were OK). We were advised to take the next bus which was in another 3 hours and 15 minutes. - Left the station late! - There was ZERO regard to check whether passengers were all boarded. They left 2 mins after the deadline even though they clearly left Milan much later. The bus abandoned us without a care to check on the wellfare of us or to give a "heads up". - Almost boarded the wrong bus because they simple told us to "stand in line" without specifying the bus. Bottom line: This is almost like taking a public bus to foxtown rather than the service advertised. Dont expect ANYTHING more especially after your money has been handed over

The transport to and from is fine, although the advertisements mention tax free shopping for non-Eu citizens you do have to spend at least SFR300 in one transaction to get the tax back, this is not mentioned. FoxTown is ok, certainly not the cheapest outlet shopping in comparison to those in the U.K. or US.

We were sold tickets for Foxtown by one of the authorised vendors who told us that we could take the Zani Viaggi bus from Central Station to Cairoli where we could get our Foxtown bus. We went to the Zani Viaggi people near the bus, they denied all claims by the vendor. On top of that they were mean, rude and inhuman and i think even very racist on some level. I don’t know how they were even hired by the company. They took no onus for the promises made by their own vendors. They said they didn’t care however we managed even when the bus was going to Cairoli and we were booked for Foxtown with Zani Viaggi itself. They threw our bag in (LITERALLY) and cursed in Italian. They think since we don’t know Italian we don’t know the curses either. Such inhuman behaviour is not tolerable. Request all indians to stay away from the driver that drives the Serravalle bus. He’s racist and a pathetic human being.
