Rouge River Family Rafting must include a Kid (6-11 yrs)

This trip is the perfect summer activity for families with kids or anyone looking for a fun and easy rafting experience! 

You will meet at the reception of the base camp at 10:30 a.m. From there, we will take a bus to the quieter section of the river (approx. 45 min)where you will meet our professional rafting guides. 

After a short safety briefing you take off down the river! You will raft on the Rouge River with rapids up to class 3, with stops for swimming, bodysurfing. A riverside picnic lunch of sandwiches will be served mid way, while you enjoy the scenery, swirling currents and expansive sandy beaches.

After your river descent (approx 3 hours), you will go back to base camp where you can take advantage of 'après-rafting' activities (pool, hot tub, snack bar, showers) before you head back home.  

• 8-10 km of rafting, guide and all equipment including wetsuits top.
• Riverside picnic lunch (vegetarian option possible, by request in advance)
• Use of facilities at the rafting base camp. (Pool, hot tub, showers)

• NOT FOR GROUPS OF ADULTS, MUST INCLUDE AT LEAST 1 CHILD 12 YEARS OLD OR UNDER
• Not wheelchair accessible
• All participants must know how to swim.
• No expectant mothers.
• This activity requires some physical exertion.
• Near public transportation
• Participants will meet at the base camp and can leave a bag there.
• Our base camp is between Ottawa and Montreal near the Ontario border. (1 hr 15 min from Tremblant and 1 hour 15 minutes from Montreal or Ottawa.) Guests staying at the Tremblant resort can take the Full-Day Mont-Tremblant Rouge River Rafting Tour with Lunch trip.
• Minimum 6 years old.
• Minimum 4 participants.
• Not recommended for travelers with back problems
• Not recommended for pregnant travelers
• No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• Most travelers can participate
• Youths must be accompanied by an adult.
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers
• Confirmation will be received at time of booking
