We had a tightly packed schedule on our six week Canadian trip so felt we were extremely lucky to get to Hopewell Rocks at low tide, allowing us to walk on the sea bed and enjoy all the wonderful rock formations from below. It was pretty busy - we were there on 10th September - including some people with pets. It was fun to watch them bounding about joyfully, particularly one retriever puppy who ended up covered in black mud. We chose to use the pathways down to the staircase, which was a lovely walk through a pretty forest. We also did a detour to look out over the clifftop. Unfortunately we were not able to return for high tide but our visit was well worthwhile.

The view was nice and unusual. Did not feel like walking on the ocean floor as many people are saying. It was quite muddy but the rock formations are interesting.

A group of friends on a trip stopped here, timed to low tide. The visitor center is very nice with great history exhibits and a cafe. The walk is as described on clean trails. Seeing the geology and views of the bay are really special. We walked along the "beach" for about 45 minutes. We did not stay for the tide to rise, but the ticket is good for 2 days so best to return the next day at high tide when you can take a kayak ride.

An amazing natural site and phenomenon. Interpretive centre was well done. Improvements to the booking system could be made. No separate line for those who pre purchased tickets. It was no more convenient or faster than buying tickets at the site.
