Overview

Take surf lessons on the north shore of Oahu, with a professional Hawaiian lifeguard and her beautiful dogs, with over 20 years' experience teaching beginner surfers. For 2 full hours, ride the waves of Hawaii complete with close encounters with sea turtles.

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

We will meet you and set you up with all your equipment, and then give a 15 min. beach lesson. The rest of the time will be in the ocean catching amazing fun beginner waves! Classes are 2 hours long all your equipment is included. My dogs andn I specialize in teaching beginners how to surf. Hope you will join us for some fun in the sun.

Suzy and Matt made our surf lessons into an unforgettable experience. Matt’s knowledge of the waves, his patience and genuine passion for the sport created an atmosphere of joy, fun and accomplishment. I highly recommend booking surf lessons through Suzy!!

Loved my first ever surfing experience last week with Andy from Suzy's! It was just me and my 7 year old nephew out there learning (and I'm almost 40!) I felt like we were both very safe with Andy. He was also fun and engaging. I got up on the board several times and so did my nephew. Andy had him giggling like wild when he was helping him get back out to the spot where he would push him off, blasting off over the waves. The location was incredibly beautiful, with very few people around all up and down the beach. We only had the surf lesson planned for the day and we ended up having lunch a the Shrimp Shack across the street (delicious!) and bought snacks from the little store next door and spent the entire day on the beach. If you want an amazing experience learning to surf, this is a great place to book a lesson! For kiddos and grown kiddos 😁

Great first surfing experience for a mom and 2 daughters! It was windy and high surf, but Susie and team helped find the perfect location on the North Shore! There were only 5 patrons surfing with 2 instructors out in the surf which made it ideal for everyone to get ample time to catch waves! Pre surf lessons on the shore made for quick learners! Susie and her 2 instructors were fun, experienced, and always had safety as a priority! Thank you! Hang loose!

We were 3 generations and different levels of experience. Andy did a great job of teaching and taking care of all of us. The surf on the North Shore was huge but they took us to a great beach with small waves-perfect. We were the only ones there which was nice.

Surfing lessons were awesome. Very personal. All three of us (46 yo dad and two teens) were able to get up and ride waves multiple times. It was nonstop.
