What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

Your guides will go over the basics of kayaking, safety, and what to expect during the tour. Your group will then paddle out in search of bioluminescence, manatee, and other sea life. When the winds are right your guides may take you to a small island for a swim. The darker the night the brighter the bioluminescence glows. Check Nasa's launch calendar so you can book a bioluminescence kayak tour on the same night as a rocket launch.

The bioluminescence paddle was beautiful! Such a fantastic night. I felt very comfortable paddling at night because the guide was so professional, knowledgeable, and fun. The warm water and the "glow" was perfect. This is a must while visiting Florida. And Adventures in Florida knows how to do it!

This was an amazing experience! We did another bioluminescence tour in Puerto Rico several years ago, and this was so much better. The bioluminescence was unbelievable! I was a bit worried about venturing out into the ocean in the dark, but the water was calm and we were all in a group with little lights on each kayak. We were so mesmerized by the biolumninescence. Recommend wearing bug spray as I got eaten alive by something out there - I don't think it was mosquitos but I had at least 50 tiny little bites all over my body, almost looked like little flea bites.

Highly recommend this kayak tour. This was our first time seeing bioluminescence in the water and it was unreal! Bill and Gina did an amazing job guiding us through the Indian River and are so knowledgeable as well. They love what they do and it shows.
