After a short one-and-a-half-hour ride from Paris, you’ll find yourself in this quaint little village in Normandy, where you’ll visit Monet’s exquisite house and gardens. Your art historian guide will animate your tour around the flowerbeds that proved a source of inspiration for Monet, past the water lily pond made famous in the Nymphéas series and across the Japanese bridge that pops up so often in his work. Then you’ll explore Monet’s house, almost untouched by the passage of time.

Expect a feast for your eyes on this half-day tour to Claude Monet’s home in Giverny. You’ll alight at Monet’s property and extensive gardens, where he indulged in his green-fingered passion.

Stop At: Fondation Claude Monet, 84 Rue Claude Monet, 27620 Giverny France

First, you’ll visit the front gardens and orchards with your expert guide, to gaze upon an array of vivid blooms (depending on the season). Next, you’ll be enthralled to see the legendary water lily pond in real life and cross the oft-painted Japanese bridge.

The gardens and home were incredible. The tour leader we had was TERRIBLE! She was argumentative and very rude. She lost most of group and then blamed us. Her one goal was to get thru the tour as fast as she could. When one person tried to talk to her about this she was horrible to the person!!

I had a trip with them and when I got to the location no one was there. I tried calling and no response. Then was able to get a hold of them through watssap, they said they tried calling me, never received a call. They said they called the number they had. When I asked for the information of mine they had, they sent me a receipt of some sort with information that wasn't mine, not my email nor phone number so I don't know who they called. They said they were sorry I missed the trip but it was my fault. If I would like they could reschedule for the next day at only 50% . I believe these people are experts at ripping people off. I seen on reviews now after looking up, they have done it to others also. Be careful, don't book with them

If you are interested in efficient transportation to and from Giverny, with some advance information about it, this is a good option. The motor coach head clean and comfortable. Pick up was a couple blocks from the Eiffel Tower. The house and gardens are a wonder, and it’s easy to see where Monet got his inspiration. I preferred independently touring the site, as opposed to a guided tour.
