Allen was amazing!! After all of the years I’ve been going doing different tours, he was in the top 10! I would say that his knowledge of all of the homes was quite intriguing! I am very pleased with how this tour was conducted.

Really disappointing tour. Only had 1 night in Salem and booked this tour - what a waste. The guide’s storytelling skills were extremely lacking unfortunately. The info provided was very brief and factual, no ‘theatrics’ - it felt like a very short, informational lecture. We stopped at the sites for very short periods of time. At one stop, there was another group out front, so the guide had us stop 30 feet away, where he told the story. When done, we just continued on past the site - we didn’t even get to see it or pause for photos. The guide pushed on pretty quickly as well and the group fell behind more than once, and he never stopped to check if everyone was still with him. I have been on other ghost tours in Salem that stopped at a few of the same places, and heard really great spooky stories that I was excited to get a refresher on, assuming the info would be shared during the stops on this tour - but didn’t hear any of them again tonight. The stories were often vague as well, things like ‘spirits have been spotted here,’ when I was was already familiar with some f the places, and knew there were some good stories to tell that just weren’t shared on this tour. At one point we passed by a different tour, where the guide was in costume and telling scary ghost stories with a ton of energy and suspense, and interacting with his group - and multiple people in our group mumbled ‘I wish we were on THAT tour instead…’ - a sentiment I share. I felt the guide was knowledgeable and prepared, but to be a ghost tour guide there is a whole other very important part of the job - hosting and performing, interacting with the guests and delivering the stories in an interesting and engaging way - this did not happen tonight. I hate to say it, but I was bored.

Did not enjoy this at all, the guide, however nice he was, you could not hear him through his voice or speakers
