it was interesting relieving the movie and thinking how hard it was for the inmates. At least the inmates enjoyed the food.

It was my first time in San Francisco and all I wanted to do was get to know the city and Alcatraz! When I booked this tour and did not know that I was gonna get to know so much parts of the city that are so important to the american history. The best part of the tour was obviously Alcatraz with the audio tour of all the people that passed thru there. Something that is important to know is that the line to get to the boat was huge! and a lot of visitors did not get to do it because there were no tickets left, so I’m glad that I booked the trip with this company a couple of days before arriving. If you are new like me and want to get to know the city in one day, I highly recommend booking the tour and enjoy the ride, I promise you that the tour is going to be memorable and you will get another view that doing it on your own does not give you.

The driver and guide were pretty good. The stops were adequate. We did the citty tour/Alcatraz combo. We parked our car near Union Square, which was the meeting point of the tour. The Alcatraz part was in the afternoon. We expected to be brought back to the origin of the tour to get our car after Alcatraz and instead were left on our own to taxi back to get our car. Not a deal breaker but a bit annoying. At least we could've gotten a taxi voucher.
