We saw more on this tour than we could ever have experienced by booking a tour through the ship. Our tour guide was awesome. We saw bears. eagles, and more. The landscape is amazing!! Highly recommend this tour.

This was an excellent excursion. Our guide, Connor, was engaging and knowledgable, and went out of his way to ensure that everyone on the tour had a day to remember - including taking photographs of all the participants at the 'Welcome to Alaska' and Yukon signs and stopping to allow wildlife viewing when we were lucky enough to see something (not much as it turned out, just a few bald eagles and mountain goats - but that's the luck of the draw!). The scenery was stunning, and we learned a lot about the history of the area. Lunch was not a gourmet experience, but was more than acceptable - no mean feat when taking into account the large turnover due to the number of tours that descend on the venue at Carcross at the same time. The Mounties' museum was interesting, and worth taking the time to visit.

I can’t say enough good things about our excursion to the Yukon. Words can’t describe the beauty of the sights you’ll experience. We had the best tour guide, Connor, who made the trip even more enjoyable. The barbecue lunch was excellent and service was top notch. Book the trip! You won’t regret it!

Connor was our guide for this thoroughly enjoyable and informative road trip into The Yukon. The journey to Carcross was well paced with lots of photo stops and interesting facts from Connor, including a beautiful and atmospheric recital of a poem describing the Yukon as we drove through the landscape. Lunch was surprisingly good, seeing the husky pups was lovely. A great trip and a chance to see and experience far more than the view from the train
