Great full day tour. Our guide Jessica was really good and took us to a few extra spots. We were lucky enough to see steller sea lions and get some great pictures. Everything ran on time and I even got to to squeeze in a hocky game afterwards.

This trip is worth every penny! Great way to see the surrounding areas of Vancouver if you have limited time. Whistler is beautiful and such an experience… the time of year we went (July), there was still snow on the mountains, so people were skiing/snowboarding, at the bottom of the mountain it was hot so people were sunbathing. Great place for shopping, food and drink - by 5pm there were people dancing on tables! It is worth paying to do the Peak 2 Peak gondola (Whistler and Blackcomb mountains).

This beloved wonderful beautiful mountain has gone down down hill (no pun intended). Absolutely everything mentioned by the 1 star reviews is true and just getting worse. The lack of grooming today and opening up Harmony Chair was beyond words. I’ve never skied there when it’s been the way it was today and just beyond puzzling as to why none of the mountain was groomed for the opening Saturday before Christmas holiday crowds. Someone we spoke to on the gondola joked “not in the corporate budget”. But no joke, any injury on there today would be subject to some liability on their part. Bottom line, it’s not what it used to be and we will be going elsewhere for awhile. The interior mountains of BC are fantastic still.

We had a wonderful day in Whistler in December. We did a La Vacanza Travel tour from downtown Vancouver to Whistler. We had stops along the way in Stanley Park, Shannon Falls, and Horseshoe Bay. We had 4 hours on our own in Whistler. We had purchased tickets online for the gondola and were able to walk right on. We started at the Blackcomb gondola and once at the top of the mountain walked over to the Peak to Peak which had a small line. Make sure to do the Peak when the weather is clear or you won’t see anything. Th ride is beautiful as you go over the snow covered trees. You arrive on Whistler mountain and can see the Olympic rings from the 2010 Olympics. There is a large restaurant and facilities on top. We were there on a Friday and it was crowded with skiers and snowboarders. It was cold on top with a small amount of wind but the views are amazing. It was about $80 USD per person. Highly recommend.
