We weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised and had an amazing day! We got to see tons of monuments and learn some DC history with our excellent tour guide, Nick, and professional navigator, Mr. Curtis. This is not something we would have been able to navigate or put together ourselves. This tour simplified the experience of sightseeing around Washington D.C! It is definitely worth the higher price tag!

We visited major historical sites and got to know about different buildings as we traveled. We had time to take photos.

It was a great tour but beware the overview is NOT the tour! Check the list of stops. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about history. Totally worth it especially if your first time in DC. I like the small tours. Timely bathroom breaks.

The tour was amazing! Our guide, Andre, had an encyclopedic knowledge of the the history of Washington DC. I've been on other DC tours in the past, and this tour exposed us to so much more, especially the contribution of people of color to our nation. I will definitely book this tour again on my next visit and will recommend to everyone I know who is planning a DC trip.

Excellent tour! Ticked off most of the obvious places to go in DC. The boat cruise was my highlight. You could see the planes taking off from Ronald Reagan airport. They weren’t flying that far over your head! The tour guide Christopher had loads of energy and charisma. A local, he clearly know his city’s history inside out. Nothing was too much trouble. In fact we were running slightly ahead of schedule so he took us on a slight detour, just across the bridge into Arlington, Virginia, so we were fortunate to also see the Iwo Jima Memorial. Above and beyond. I highly recommend this tour!
