A VIP private wildlife and landscape photography canoe tour. The history of Algonquin Park, Canoe Lake and Tom Thomson is also extensively covered.

Two adults (up to 210kg total) join the Algonquin Adventure Tours for 3 hours of interesting education, spectacular views, gourmet dining, fun stories and connecting with nature. Paddling Algonquin Park since 1981, and professionally guiding since 1996, Stuart has intimate knowledge of all things Algonquin.

An eco friendly 3hp electric motor get you across large sections of water. Stuart paddles in the tranquil areas. Your hands are free for photos or included HD binoculars.

Tom Thomson fans can literally walk in the famous artists footsteps when we visit his memorial and other locations. We use step stools for entering and exiting the canoe, so your feet don't need to get wet.

Any age ok. No smoking.

My three hour solo VIP canoe tour with Stuart exceeded all expectations. He knows every square centimetre of Canoe Lake and its environs from North to South, East to West. Stuart provided well-timed commentary and historical tidbits at every turn, displaying a vast wealth of knowledge about the water, the land, and the wildlife. I came away from my tour with a deep appreciation of Canoe Lake and Algonquin Park - all thanks to Stuart. The experience was so enriching, I am already planning another trip back to the Park for another tour with Stuart -- only this time I'm bringing family along with me. I cannot recommend Stuart and his company enough. A first class operation all the way.

Excellent and highly recommend booking. Incredible experience!!!!!!! Not only saw moose, but other animals. Our guide knew exactly where to go and was polite and knowledgeable. Best picnic lunch and learned a lot of facts too.

Ok so the guide really knows his stuff. He knows the park, the lakes, the wildlife and can be a great guide. He found us 2 MOOSE, painted turtles, bull frogs, birds, nests and beaver dams. The problem is he is racist and not a nice guy. My advice, take the tour… it is totally worth every penny. But, as you motor back to the takeout, unless you are die hard racist, put your earbuds in or pretend you are asleep.

Excellent knowledge from Stuart our guide, on a very hot day. Didn’t catch much in terms of wildlife but enjoyable and relaxing experience in the canoe
