Overview

We are proud to be Amsterdam's smallest bike tour company! The number of participants per group is limited and we guarantee you to be in a group of no more then 12 persons. This ensures a fun, safe and high quality bike tour.

Our countryside bike tour (total distance: 30 km / 18 miles) is a great break away from the city. On this leisurely bike ride you will learn about the Dutch history and our on going battle agains the water. The beautiful landscapes lay below sea level which you will see with your own eyes while riding your bike over the embankments that keep our feet dry.

We'll be passing picturesque farmers and fishermen villages and see the big five of Holland on this Dutch safari. (cows, cows, cows, cows, cows) ;)
Halfway through the tour we enjoy a relaxing break to hydrate and taste the world's best slice of apple pie in the picturesque village of Holysloot. This is the perfect fuel to keep us going and head to our favourite windmill in the region: a monument from 1792!

The tour was amazing! I really enjoyed it! Anybody can do it, it is an easy ride, it only gets a bit difficult when it's windy. Our guide was really helpful, stopped when he saw we were a bit tired and explained different facts about the countryside and the dutch culture. In the middle of the tour we had a stop in a bar in a lovely village to eat something quick. I definitely recommend this tour!

We really enjoyed our four-hour bike ride around the countryside of Amsterdam! It gave us a different perspective from always being in the city and the bike ride itself was a great way to get some fitness in while on vacation as you really do bike for some time out there. We enjoyed being in the fresh open air without worrying about traffic. Most importantly, we learned so much on this ride! Our guide Jouris was wonderful, very friendly, and took the time to introduce himself to each of us. He was also knowledgeable in his explanations about why we stopped at each site and provided a lot of good information. During our break at the restaurant eating our delicious apple pies (it was truly well-recommended), we asked him more questions about the Dutch way of life, which he was happy to talk about so we learned even more about Amsterdam overall and its people. We would highly recommend this countryside bike tour as it's very informative, well-organized, and will help complete your understanding of your visit to Amsterdam. You can't go wrong with a fun, relaxing activity that gets you exercising while learning more about the beautiful country you're visiting!

Jalmar was a great guide who provided useful information on both bike rules and places visited. The experience was really fun though we did not see any cows as it was too cold for them to come out into the fields! At half way through this trip, the 30min at a local school house was very much appreciated and the world's best apple cake really lived up to its reputation! We felt so much more confident on the bikes after the trip that we rented for the rest of the day to explore the city, such fun! We highly recommend this relaxed and educational trip!

Great with kids. Our guide was very kind. We stopped several times to hear about Amsterdam and then one stop to have a hot coco, coffee, Coke, or beer. Would recommend for families.

We had a great half day on the cycling tour around Amsterdam - our guide for the trip was Bas, who was a wealth of information regards the history of the city and took the time to explain it - not just the history of Amsterdam but the bigger picture regards the Dutch impact on the history of the world. A very enjoyable morning spent seen the sights of Amsterdam and would recommend!!
