Though very crowded we saw amazing art and sculptures. Our guide did a great job of explaining the art to us. Due to the crowded nature of the museum we had difficulty hearing him unless right next to him. It would have been helpful if guides could have a microphone with headphones for the tourists to hear him.
Marten was a great tour guide. Passionate which made my kids love it more. Made me realize I knew more about Van Gogh then I thought.
Marten was so interesting and enthusiastic. I would give him rave reviews and would gladly hire him again.
This is a relatively big busy museum and without our guide explaining most important works and pointing out interesting details my kids would not have enjoyed the museum and would have lost focus. Our guide was knowledgeable and I recommend this tour for people who don’t know a lot about art but want to learn.
I felt like I got an Art History degree in Van Gogh. Rolf was exceptional! He guided us through Van Gogh's life, inspirations, painting style, and madness. I now have a real understanding of his work as well as his family and its importance to him. I cannot rate this highly enough!
