We saw all the ancient sites and cultural sites of Athens. We moved at our own pace and our driver and guide both were quite knowledgeable and interesting. The SUV could have held more people if a group is larger than ours.

My wife and I were planning our bucket list trip to the Greek isles for quite some time now, and as an afterthought, we scheduled two days in Athens. Wow! Just wow. Do NOT overlook Athens. The history, the culture, the people, the amazing food…you haven’t experienced Greece without stopping in Athens. We booked this private tour with Bill because we had limited time and wanted to see the main highlights. Best money ever spent on a tour with La Vacanza Travel. Hands-down, the best. Our guide Bill is a native Athenian who is proud of his country and his culture and goes above and beyond to ensure you get the truest sense of what Greece has to offer. Bill was very prompt, answered every question and request that we had, and has presentation and content that really sets up ever stop along your tour. He also has a very unexpected surprise for his guests, so I will not spoil it here. Just know that it dovetails with one of the tour stops in an awesome way. We wanted a unique Greek lunch experience, and Bill did not disappoint with both his recommendation and the location of the restaurant. It was at the marina in Athens, and we dined on the water. Just perfect! I do not usually write any kind of review, but in this case, it was not only warranted but my absolute pleasure. If you are limited on time, Bill will take care of you! I would give this 10 stars, if I could. Efharisto, Bill!
