This half day tour was made special for me by the Guide, she was the best one I have ever encountered, full of information, relevant to Greece generally but also about the fascinating site of ancient Corinth. The tour was amazing and made real by the Guide.

Our guide, Vicky, was extremely knowledgeable, which added a lot to the experience. There was a little confusion on the pick up spot because one piece of communication showed our hotel, but once I contacted La Vacanza Travel, they told me we were meeting at a different location. The half day tour felt a little rushed, maybe a full day tour would have been better.

There are only a couple of ways to get to Corinth. Since we didn’t want to brave the highways in a rental car, we chose this tour company. The bus driver was an extremely good driver! The guide was very knowledgeable and kind. There are things that are out of the control of the driver and guide. The stop at the canal (which wasn’t breath-taking) was crowded with tourist buses so our time there was extended by 10 minutes. There was a large but crowded food/bathroom/store complex there. Guide told us this is the only place to get food all day. The bus went by the port of Corinth which is mostly underwater. We didn’t stop, but it was neat to see where Paul would have taken the boat. The archeological site at Corinth has a museum with (not kidding) one toilet for women and one for men. Since the bus didn’t have a toilet, we had to choose to either wait in line for a bathroom or use that time walking around the ruins. (Not a huge deal in April but I can imagine summer months being VERY crowded) Our guide took us around the ruins but also offered the option to go on our own. She knows a lot about Paul. There was no stop on the way back to Athens. We all have choices but it is good to be prepared for all the details. This is a good company. Decide whether the day is worth a bus trip. :)

Should've disclaimer from CHAT Tours-1st pick up was 7:30am & should stated that YOU CANNOT EAT NOR DRINK on the tour bus!! Tour doesn't start til 9am. 2nd-Please state that your Wifi can be broken on the van-no apology were given tour operator. 3rd-only an hour stay at Corinth too short and no short stop at Kehreai. 6 hours tour wasn't exactly included 2.5 hours were on transportations - should be at least 3.5 hours tour - a very short stop at the canal & around an hour stop at Corinth & they skipped the last "brief" stop. Not completely happy with how the trip was organized. We were drop off back to Athens around 1:30pm - 6 hours tour INCLUDED transportation time. Tourist beware!!
