We use the hop on hop off buses in almost every city we visit, it is much less expensive than taxis and allows us to explore popular attractions and things nearby. I was really excited about their 48 hour ticket, we had a short trip so it was a perfect way to spread out our days. The only thing I was really disappointed about was the tour advertised a free guided walking tour of the gothic quarter. Since we weren't going there for specific sites and unfamiliar with the area I thought this would be perfect. Typically, these tours you tip at the end and they are handled by locals. When we finally found the meet up location we had our names on a list (you used a QR code to get put on a list) the women in charge asked us for payment. We said it was included in the hop on hop off tour and showed her on the map where it stated it. She said they no longer honor that and we would have to pay for the tour. I probably would have paid but she was rude about it. I tried speaking to someone at the hop on/hop off place and they had not answer either. We explored the quarter ourselves and that was fine but I think they need to correct this as it seemed to be a common problem based on the guides reaction.

Made it easy to get to city's top rated attractions and easy to follow map stop locations. Would hight recommend hop on hop off buss for time visit to new locations for vacations.

It was a great way to see the whole city in one day and have the option to jump on or off at different stops. Also made it easier to identify spaces that we wanted to spend more time at. The guides were super helpful!

A great way to view the whole city! I personally started on the bus while it made its full rounds! There are two different bus routes and I took both in full! Obviously, if there is a spot you are interested in, very easy to hop off. I believe the busses come around every 10 minutes, so you are never waiting around long! They also stop at Metro locations, so it’s easy to venture elsewhere, too.

This is the best way to do Barcelona city tour Two tours combined in one - blue route and red route You can hop on and hop off as many times as you wish Every 20 min new bus will come on the designated stops Only disadvantage is that some drop and pick points are too far from the main tourist attraction e.g. park Gülle Staff on board is friendly and prompt Audio assistance is best as it offers 14 difference languages of 14 different countries.
