Loved this wine experience. We enjoyed great wine with cheese and meat board. Lively conversation and learned a lot of wine in the region.

A great selection of wine, felt like you got decent sizes of each rather than just a mouthful. The accompanying food was delicious and so well paired. The cellar itself was lovely, the perfect temperature event on a wet and windy cold day in April. A perfect amount of education and information before getting stuck into enjoying each wine. My only negative is popping across the road to buy a couple of the bottles we had tasted, the guy in the shop was not very friendly or welcoming and didn’t know which wines we had tasted so I had to go back across to the cellar to ask. But other than that, brilliant!

Our host (Christhof?) was extremely knowledgeable about the wines. He did a great job of explaining the history of Hungarian wines and their successes and struggles throughout time. We have gained a new respect for Hungarian wine.

The tasting session was great, really interesting to learn about the history of wine making in Hungary and the different regions of the country. Our guide was really knowledgeable and you get good quantities of wine and cheese/meats to try. I never really knew Hungarian could be so good.

The host was full of knowledge, he was friendly and a good sense of humour. Everything was laid out nicely and they were very efficient with making sure you had everything you needed.
