What Can You Expect?

Domestic Arrivals
After booking, you will receive a confirmation. Your driver will meet you at the Exemplar desk in the T2 Arrivals/Baggage hall, with your name on a board. The desk is on your left as you enter the Arrivals hall. Please make yourself known to him/her then collect your luggage.

International Arrivals
If you have an Australian capable phone please turn it on as soon as possible. (And please remember to provide us with your number at time of booking). Your driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals lounge as you exit the custom hall. He/she will be greeting you with a smile and a board with your name on it.

    La Vacanza Travel failed to contact the driving service. Our plane arrived 2 hours late at midnight, but they still provided a driver. Excellent service from the transport company, extremely poor service from La Vacanza Travel.

    Some one needs to figure out what went wrong here, because it was obvious it wasn't the first time. If I book a private transfer, then it should be just my party, not someone else's group too. I pay more for this than taking a taxi to be hassle free and we had a dinner reservation to make so I didn't have time to wait for the other group to get bags (we did carry on). In the end they took us (in a bus for 2 people because they were out of cars) after I offered to take a cab and have them refund me. I would like to know if this was La Vacanza Travel or the transfer company's screw up. Please get back to me.

    I’d like to firstly say, (I can’t remember this man’s name) the man who first collected me, I want to say his name was Richard, from the airport to my hostel was wonderful. I had just landed, and stressed, and he was super friendly & welcoming - couldn’t fault this journey at all. However my journey back, I had a man called Bob, this journey was fine picked up and was at the airport with good time. But, I was absolutely disgusted by his comments, I’m a young female solo traveller where he had fetched me from my accommodation, checked with me that I had my seatbelt on and the other person who was also being collected - as I said yes to my seatbelt, he disgustingly commented ‘with that big arse, I’ll give you a koalas thumbs up’. Absolutely disgusting. All in all the services are great, I’d use them again, but but I am truly disgusted by this comment.

    Our driver was Edric. We saw him immediately holding up a tablet with our names on it when we entered baggage claim. He waited while we collected our luggage and when our luggage didn't come, he helped us deal with the airline (one of our bags never made it on the plane). Once that was sorted out, he gave us a ride to the hotel and answered all of my wife's questions on the way. He was super friendly and gave us a lot of information on the area. The car was spacious, clean and luxurious. I would definitely recommend Edric and this service.
