The tour was very enjoyable. I was agreeably surprised by the hotel accommodation, which was universally excellent. The airport transfers were amazing, the best I have experienced. All Look at Egypt Tours staff were excellent -always pleasant and courteous and making sure they did a good job. Our tour guide Randa was brilliant. Her passion for her country and for the treasures of Egypt was always present; she was funny but immensely knowledgeable and always energetic. I enjoyed the craft centers that we visited. I am not a "tour person" but the group and look at Egypt tours team made it work and gave me a positive experience. Thank you very much look at Egypt tours.

This was an excellent tour, put together with much care (as we wanted to add some extras). Mr Alfattah, as well as our two guides, went above and beyond to help us enjoy our time, learn a LOT, and feel safe. Our guides were very knowledgeable and all they shared about history, culture, and customs was fascinating. They were also very flexible with times and trying to work in little things we wanted to do. They were also great and patient photographers! :) A few examples of the personal touch: my luggage got lost and, though I was without it for most of the trip, Mr Alfattah gave me some money to get a few necessities, even though it was not at all Look at Egypt’s fault. Also, due to some govt things going on, out itinerary had to be changed and it looked like we might miss a couple of things. But again, even though it wasn’t their fault, they went the extra mile to make sure we did see those things. My daughter turned 34 on this trip and they made sure the cruise people knew about it so they planned a birthday dinner celebration that night in the dining room! We had wanted to see Egypt for several years and it didn’t disappoint. I think it is important to know that we felt very safe, as a lot of people are afraid to go there due to fears of terrorism in Arabic countries. Go with Look at Egypt - I cannot recommend them highly enough!

We were a little hesitant to book this trip because of the lack of reviews. Reviews on amazon pretty much dictate what I buy and this trip only had one review when we booked it. But in all seriousness do not hesitate to book this trip. We stumbled upon this trip while searching La Vacanza Travel and decided to take a chance. Let me start off by saying the people in this company are what made this trip. Of course the sites are great but the tour guides were amazing. Very down to earth funny friendly people. The kind of people I would hang out with at home. From the first guide we met at the airport to the last guide who dropped us off at the airport it was a great experience. The trip started off great and one of the guides met us inside the airport before we cleared customs. It was unique to us in that the airport actually let the guides come past security to help us secure our visas. The hotels that were selected for us were all very clean and safe. Metal detectors were located at each hotel and I never felt unsafe at any part during the trip. Especially in light of recent events in Morocco I think people traveling to this part of the world might be concerned about safety. We stayed in pretty frequented areas by tourists and never felt the least bit uncomfortable. The tour group did everything they could to accommodate us and help us get the most out of our time in Egypt. This included one super early flight where we had to leave the hotel at 4am and missed one of our included breakfasts. We mentioned this to one of our guides after how hungry we were because we didn't get breakfast that morning. He said the hotel should have prepared a boxed breakfast for us. He reported this to the owner of the company and we received a personal call from him apologizing to us and even bought us a round of drinks that night to help make up for the missed breakfast. I thought this tour covered all the major highlights of Egypt that I have always wanted to see. We did a few of the extra tours. I'm gonna be honest I probably wouldn't do the light show at the pyramids again. It is not a light show like we think of light shows in the states. There were no lasers, fog machines, or rock and roll. It was more of something you'd see in grade school with lights projected onto the pyramids and a few images projected with a narrator that tells the story of the pharaohs. The food was good. The meals that were included exceeded our expectations but the bar had been set pretty low by our last La Vacanza Travel tour to the Galapagos where I would have given that trip a one star for food. Get all the cool pictures you've been dreaming of posting to social media on this trip. This was a wonderful trip to see a lot of Egypt in a short amount of time. If you are on the fence I would say just take the plunge and book this trip. If you have more or less time I would not hesitate booking another tour with this company because they were great!

The description of this tour doesnt do it justice! The tour company was by far the best weve had! They picked us up at the airport on the way to baggage claim, arranged our visas for us, Helped us get our bags, and got us into the hotel without us having to worry about a thing! Same on getting us to the airport and to Aswan and to the Cruise ship. The guide for the sites when the ship docked was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating! Giving us all the time we needed to further look at the temples, Valley of the Kings, and also taking time to tell us about the history and the current culture as well. Not to mention how awesome the guide we had for the day in Cairo was - it will leave you wanting to spend more time at the siteswhich we did. I have to say, as someone used to traveling the world and winging it with just a day trip arrange here and a day trip arranged there, I was very glad to have this tour and them help us navigate the local systems etc! For a first time trip to Egypt, Id say this is a must. For a repeat visit to Egypt, Id still highly recommend this tour - easy, friendly, knowledgeable and fun!
