We spent a fantastic day with Marlene, who not only took into account our wishes for the day but also showed us some small gems which we wouldn’t have found by ourselves. Talking to her helped us to get to know the country better too! We would definitely recommend this beautiful experience.

We had an absolutely magnificent day out with Marlene - she was ready for us when we got downstairs, let us determine how much or how little info we wanted to hear about winemaking, and gave us recommendations on wineries based on her extensive experience. We were after wine pairings that also paired with other things and had asked specifically for a cheese pairing which led us to Fairview but Marlene also suggested a biltong pairing at Marianne Wine Estate and it was utterly fantastic. We also chose to browse the shops in Stellenbosch, and had a delightful lunch which Marlene helped us to confirm to ensure that our day ran smoothly as it was very busy due to the long weekend. She also took pictures of us throughout the day so that we had a collection of happy snaps at the end. Despite running into some traffic at the end of the day headed back into Cape Town, Marlene got us back home right on time. Thank you so much for today - you really made all the difference and we had a great time with you! We would highly recommend Marlene and the rest of the Luhambo team for your private or group tours!

We had Marlene for this trip. After some chatting she figured out what our needs were. She really nailed it! All her knowledge of the area of the region the vineyards really brought the history alive. On top of all that she has some real clout in the area. We truly got VIP service.
