05.00 am. pick up from hotel and 2 hours drive to Doi Inthanon National Park at 2,565 M. It's a tract of upper mountain forest and Thailand's only sphagnum mose.
We allowing bird watchers to spend time around 2 hours on the trails to look for the many ornithological treats that await. Birds seem to be in greater densities here than other locations, a large number of species both migrant and resident. This is the most memorable locations for bird watching in Thailand.
After Bird Watching, 2 hours hiking guided by local people who'll give informative idea about jungle. Passing rice plantation, flower garden ,waterfall and try local coffee by their traditional way.

We really enjoyed this birdwatching experience with Joe! He was very knowledgeable about the birds, their names and enabled us to spot many different species (about 20, including multiple relatively rare ones - all beautiful). The guided walk through the forest was also interesting with a possibility of tasting and buing some local coffee. Everything run smoothly and the communication was on point.

Joe is a local who knows and loves the area—and who loves to share the area’s treasures. He took me to two birding hotspots where we saw some target birds and one rarity! The hike with the Karen guide through the mountains to her village was a delight.

We really enjoyed our day with Joe. We learned a lot about Chiang Mai, birds in the park, sampled home grown coffee and saw gorgeous vistas. And the lunch khao soi was delicious!

I am very interested in birds but my family is only mildly interested. Therefore this was the perfect trip for us. It was a nice mix of bird watching and hiking. Joe knew his birds and where to find them and was an excellent traveling companion for all of us. The hike is through spectacular scenery. This hike is only allowed with a Karen Tribal guide who are indigenous to this part of the Park and they care for the land. The hike is steep and can be challenging for us older folks. 3 of the 4 of us are in our 70's, but we are in good shape and were able to do it. The dinner on the way home was very delicious. A good time was had by all of us and I recommend Go With Joe to others. PS Trip Advisor- regarding who was with me- only allowed me to put Couples or Family with teens. We were none of the options. This was my Brother, his wife, myself, and our niece, 25 years old, from a different brother.
