This is an all inclusive 4 hr whitewater rafting tour.This tour begins at 9:00am and ends at 1:00pm.This a fun filled educational whitewater rafting trip.Youll be hitting rapid after rapid on this beautiful section in the Red Canyon.Be prepared to get wet,and have fun.You May get chances to see beautiful wildlife,amazing scenery,and hear fun historical facts.All while riding a roller coaster of rapids.About half way down the river,you’ll be stopping at a beautiful little picnic spot to have your deli style lunch,and get a little sun before heading down the next 7 miles.

What Can You Expect?

be prepared to have a maxing time on a rollercoaster of class 2s and 3s rapids,see amazing canyons,and learn lots of fun history.Youll be taken very good care of by your guide.They are put through strenuous trainings to raft these rivers.They are CPR certified,first aid,water rescue,background checks,and drug and alcohol tested.Here at CWA we do the best we can to provide a safe but fun and memorable vacation.Please notify us about any dietary or physical restrictions so that we may accommodate your needs.This Trip is a family fun trip and we allow guests down to 2 years old on this stretch,but don’t worry there’s tons of fun rapids for the Adventurous adults.

  • please wear quick dry clothes,sandals or water shoes.Also bring along a sweatshirt,dry socks and shoes for after the tour is over.Those items can stay in the bus.

This was so fun, the scenery is absolutely beautiful while kayaking in "duckies" for the "half day" on the Sheshone. Our 14 and 15 year old daughters LOVED it, exactly what we hoped for. It's not so easy to talk while on the river but our guide to the river, Tommy, was very informative during the drive to our drop off. We really enjoyed talking to him. Tristan was our guide down the river he was a lot of fun too. We also enjoyed our driver back (sorry can't remember name) he was fun and easy to talk to. We were given an impressive sandwich lunch complete with strawberries, and brownies. The time given was accurate, though we gladly would've spent more time on the river with these guys. We were back at the shop in Cody by 1:10. Thanks guys for a great time!!! Note: If booking online call to confirm! There was a snafu and Groupon had us booked on a day that was full but I had called Cody Wyoming Adventures after booking (just because Groupon can be sketchy) and we were able to book for the day after originally planned. Also, payment was an issue because Groupon unexpectedly cancelled our reservation and we don't carry that much cash, but thankfully Tommy was quick to think outside the box and figure out a way.

This company was amazing to work with. Mike, the owner, was so friendly. Our tour guide, Tommy, was really informative and a lot of fun on our rafting trip. We’ll absolutely come back when we’re in the area next. Also, our lunch was delicious!

Terrific experience. The whole staff was friendly, the owner drove the bus to the launch and gave a humorous and educational background of the area. The lunch was the best.

One of us got fever day before, for others safety we cancelled, NO refund or options given, so sad!!

My boys (7 & 8) and I had a wonderful time rafting! The guides, Chris and Casey were amazing :-) they made sure we stayed safe and shoes us a good time! Even had a splash fight with the other raft!!
