It was a good hike with 3 people and Andrew, our guide. None of us were very athletic and Andrew was able to set a good pace that was not punishing and we took small breaks. Beautiful views.

The hike was soulful! The best part was we were a small trio with Andrew (the torchbearer) so all our queries were well-attended to along the way and we also got to spend around 20m at the viewpoint which is way more than usual. We never got disbanded and completed it at an above average lap time, despite being beginners. Andrew is a very competent instructor and lead. Thanks for this wonderful experience!

We loved this hike. It was easy enough for pretty much anyone to do. There was some snow/ice at the start of the trail (April 11) and Andrew provided us with ice spikes that fit easily over our shoes. We were a mixed group of hikers, most with some experience but by no means were we professional hikers. We were in town for a conference and wanted to get out in nature. Our guide was Andrew and he did a stellar job driving us to the location and guiding the hike. He knew a lot about the area, the history, vegetation and animals...but where he lacked in ornithology, our bird master of the group filled him in...LOL! There were lots of photo opportunities and a very nice lookout to Pikes Peak. I recommend this hike to anyone who likes walking/hiking! Thanks Andrew! (tried to add pictures but they wouldn't work...sorry!)

Andrew was an absolutely fantastic guide. He treated each of us like old friends and was super respectful of the varying levels of hiking expertise within our group. If you’re looking for a fun hike with stunning views led by locals who know their stuff, definitely book this day trip.

Lauren was a great tour guide for our small group. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, especially since we had snowy weather on our hike. She came prepared and offered extra food and gear (Thanks for the spikes!) to the group. I learned a lot on the hike about the trees, lichen, and some fun Colorado facts. The hike was around 4.5 miles and we luckily we're able to see some incredible views along the way. It was awesome to chat with Lauren about her experience living in Colorado and sharing travel stories. I highly recommend her tour if you're looking for a special, local hike, from a local tour guide, who is also very kind and fun to hangout with!
