Overview

This is a nice hike thats not far from Denver or difficult to hike. It takes less then an hour to get there and is about 30 minutes up to the lake. You can walk around the lake to where the glacier and cascades are and take in some amazing views before heading down and back to Denver. The whole trip can take less then 4 hours and well worth it.

Stop At: St. Mary's Glacier, Colorado 80452, USA

We drive about an hour from Denver to the beginning of the trail.
We will hike about an hour up to a beautiful lake with a glacier and waterfall that has amazing views around. We can keep hiking up as far as we would like for better views and then go back down to take a ride back to Denver. We can stop in Idaho springs for a meal or drinks on the way back.

Perfect intro to Colorado! We had a great hike, despite not being used to the altitude yet. Jeremy had us covered with hiking poles, water and snacks and was a stellar guide. He went at our pace and had great local knowledge as well. We highly recommend this trip!

Jeremy was incredibly accommodating about the hike start time and offered to stop on the way back for lunch. He came prepared with hiking sticks which turned out to be very helpful. He was knowledgeable about the area and was overall a super nice and experienced guide to have for our hike. Would definitely have him as our guide again and would recommend to my friends and family!

Jeremy was a fantastic guide on the hike to Glacier Lake. He was extremely patient with me as I was not used to the altitude but made the experience extremely fun. If you are looking for a beautiful location to hike to I definitely recommend this location.
