The variety of activities on the tour was incredible. From cycling in Killarney National Park, kayaking in Dingle Harbour, hiking along the Cliffs of Moher and a carriage ride on the Aran Islands, there was always something to see and do. We saw a sheepdog demo that was the favorite of many in our group, several walking tours of the places we stayed and we had many opportunities along the way for pictures of the incredible Irish countryside. Woven in to this, our guide Patrick gave us the history and folklore of the Irish people, which rounded out this incredible introduction to the beautiful Emerald Isle. The small group format allowed us to form friendships which will last beyond the tour itself. The accommodations along the way were excellent and the included breakfasts were a great start to our full days

I had a blast on the 7-day tour of Ireland! It was like a whirlwind adventure filled with amazing spots. We kicked things off in Cashel, where the Rock of Cashel gave us a taste of Irish history and stunning views. Blarney Castle was a blast - I kissed the Blarney Stone! Dingle was all colors and good vibes. Kilarney National Park was a refreshing escape into nature. And the Cliffs of Moher? Wow, what a view! The Aran Islands were a step back in time, and Galway had the best music and food. But the real MVP was our guide, Pat O'Mara. He made the history and stories come alive, and his friendly vibe made the trip extra special. This tour is an absolute must if you want to see the real Ireland with an amazing guide. Don't miss out!

Outstanding! The Overland Ireland Great Atlantic Adventure (small group) tour was just as advertised but even better than expected. Our guide Pat O'mara was exceptional. Pat paid attention to all the details, small and large, and made sure all participants were informed, comfortable with their activities and safe whether we were together or doing individual activities. Pat shared his vast knowledge about Ireland, the history and sights, including some lesser known places of interest to visit. Pat's sense of humor added to our fun and helped to create a sense of camaraderie. Aside from general history, Pat provided specifics about each place we visited and suggested restaurants and pubs for various types of music and Irish Set Dancing. Lodging was walking distance from all major activities/sights. Our tour was comprised of 14 people of various ages from as young as 10 up to people in their late 70s. You could choose which activities were best suited for you or opt for down time. We went primarily south and west in Ireland and stayed in small guest houses or lodges with a few hotels - breakfast was included at all properties. Places visited included but are not limited to: Rock of Cashel, Blarney Castle and gardens, Kinsale Walking Tour with local guide; Kenmare; Killarney National Park, bike ride though the park including stops at Muckross House and walk to Torc Waterfwall; Dingle, sea kayaking, Slea Head drive, Coumeenoole Beach, Blasket Island Visitor Center, Dunmore Head Hike, Clogher Beach, Gallarus Oratory; Conors Pass, Sheepdog herding demonstration, River Shannon Ferry, Cliffs of Moher hike; drive through parts of Burren National Park; Galway walking tour with local guide; Aran Island ferry to Inishmore -local bus tour or guided bike ride to various parts of the island, walk/hike to Dun Aonghasa Fort; drive through Connemara Mountains, photo stop at the Killary Fjord; Westport, time in the town and hike nearby Croagh Patrick or some of the trails instead including Murrisk Loop hike/walk. Ask for a tour with Pat when booking! We had a fantastic time and have tremendous memories. Overland Ireland had less active tours and ones to other places in Ireland. I highly recommend the company. Enjoy your travels, we did.

Absolutely the best experience I've ever had. Each day was filled with history and tours of the local communities we visited. I really enjoyed having a small group (16 ppl) who all turned into family after the first day. Our tour guide had deep knowledge of each town and what makes it unique. Overland went above and beyond for me when my luggage was delayed arriving in Ireland. They made calls to the local airport and people they knew to help me. I appreciate their extra effort so much! Bridgette and Jessica are absolutely the best! Sometimes the weather forced us to change plans but every time we were met with an alternate plan quickly so we didn't feel like we missed out on anything due to rain.
