An enjoyable day with a visit to a church, temple, dutch buildings and a spice plantation for lunch It was very well organised by Amaze Tours and our guide for the day was Ceasar. The roads to the plantation were very bumpy and the coach suspension could have been better. We were delayed by constant traffic jams and at one stage we came to a halt with neither side willing to give way. Ceasar did a great job acting as traffic warden, negotiating with cars, buses and bikes. The plantation tour was educational but | would have liked to have seen the processes involved in producing the spices. The lunch however was excellent

The tour was ok - it wasnt the tour operators fault that Goa isn't great and the things to see there aren't great. The tour guide did the best he could with Goa. Goa itself is not pretty, the sites to see aren't great - again this isn't the tour operators fault. Abi was good and the van had air conditioning and the spice plantation was definitely the best part.

A driver met us at the pier but without the guide. We drove for about an hour to the church where our guide, who was late, finally met us. Our guide was only marginally knowledgeable. He could not answer many of our questions. The churches are in very poor condition. The last part of the tour we went to a spice farm where we were offered lunch but we did not eat. We did have something to drink. The spice farm was interesting and we saw the resident elephant. In short, it is a very long way to go to see something that is just "ok" not great. We were not the only people disappointed. Folks who took other tours of Goa said the same thing. People had high expectations but Goa did not meet them.

Everything was excellent. Our guide met the six of us promptly even though he had to wait for us to exit immigration. He took us to all of the highlights of Goa, both old and new. Our tour at the Spice Plantation and lunch were excellent. Our guide and driver were conscious of the time and safely got us back to the ship in plenty of time.
