The snorkelling safari with Leagues Ahead Diving is suited for both adults and children alike!

Our PADI instructor guides will take you to the best snorkelling site on the island and introduce you to the underwater world of Gran Canaria in a fun, relaxed, and safe manner. Depending on which snorkelling site will offer you the best conditions, we will visit either Amadores Bay or Puerto De Mogan!

Top of the range professional snorkelling equipment, including a wetsuit, is provided to all clients.

*Complimentary hotel transfers start at 8:00 am
*You will then be transported to the dive center to fill out all the necessary paperwork, meet the team and be fitted for your wetsuit!
*You will then be transported to the snorkeling site in our top of the range van.
*A briefing will be provided that will go into detail about the marine life you can expect to see and how to snorkel safely.
*We will transport you back to your hotel for 12:00pm

Hotel transfers are provided at 8:00 am as a complimentary service to kickstart your adventure. Subsequently, you'll be chauffeured to our dive center for paperwork completion, team introductions, and precise fitting of your wetsuit.

Next, our high-quality van will transport you to the designated snorkeling site, ensuring a comfortable and secure journey. At the site, a comprehensive briefing awaits, shedding light on the diverse marine life awaiting your exploration and imparting essential snorkeling safety techniques.

Wrapping up the experience, we'll facilitate your return to the hotel by 12:00 pm, ensuring a seamless conclusion to your exhilarating snorkeling expedition.

    The time of collection will be specified upon confirmation. The collection times start at 8:00 am depending on the location of the hotel. You will then be dropped back at your hotel for 12:00 pm!***

    We collect customers from any accommodation in the South of Gran Canaria. Including Playa del Ingles, Maspalomas, Puerto Rico, Mogan, Bahia Feliz, ​and San Agustin to name but a few!

    In the Summer season, we run several excursions a day, so we can continue to keep our groups small, so if the morning slot is no longer available we will suggest a later time slot in that day!

    We were picked up on time by Paulo who was friendly and very helpful. Our kit fitted perfectly once we’d squeezed into it. We were given clear instructions and advice plus a preview of what to look for. We were in the water for well over an hour and had a brilliant time at Amadores Beach. There were lots of fish of all shapes and sizes and some crabs in the rocky areas. The shoals of fish came really close and swam around and beneath us as we floated on the surface. Visibility was excellent. We felt very safe with Pablo who stayed nearby and pointed out things we would otherwise have missed. A really good trip we can recommend wholeheartedly

    We had a fantastic time!! We were picked up promptly and welcomed by the team. Immediately felt comfortable. After fitting wetsuits we wasted no time and travelled to a beautiful snorkelling spot. It was an incredible experience which we will definitely do again or even try scuba diving. 11/10 would recommend this! 🐠

    Excellent experience from start to finish. The pre-trip comms for pick up and kit sizing were friendly and efficient. Pick up was bang on time. The welcoming team were great, they made everyone feel comfortable, made sure our kit fitted well, and did all the work taking it to the snorkelling location. They chose a spot suitable for the conditions on the day and the range of abilities in the group with a comprehensive briefing showing us all the different fish to look out for. There was so much to see! The team sorted out all the kit afterwards, it was effortless for us participants, and really fun morning.

    We had the best snorkeling experience with Leagues Ahead Diving! As a family of 4 with two 11 year olds it was so convenient with pick up at the hotel we were taken to the dive centre for a short visit to try on wet suits and sign paperwork etc! Must have burned 1000 calories just getting into and out off the wetsuits lol! Phew! Paulo then took us to a beach renowned for snorkeling and diving. A short briefing from the car park area showing us where we were going to snorkel and rhe types of fish we would see and it was back into the wetsuits and a walk to the beach. It was sandy beach and a gentle walk into the sea. Paulo showed how to put on mask and snorkel and importantly, how to clear water from the mask and snorkel. Then flippers on and we were off! Wow, just wow! We saw loads of different fish 🐟 all sizes and colours! Paulo would also free dive beneath us and point out those more camouflaged that were hiding in the rocks and sand. However, the highlight has to be that we saw a beautiful sting ray - wow - it was awesome! Paulo said it was probably the second largest he's seen here. The children thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience - they having never snorkelled before and both said they would love to do it again. We would certainly recommend Leagues Ahead Diving for anyone who wants to try snorkeling.

    Snorkeling in the warm, shimmering waters under the radiant sun is truly an invigorating experience. As you glide through the azure depths, the cool, salty water caressing your skin, it's like entering another world. A world teeming with vibrant corals of all shapes, sizes, and colors. A world bustling with life, where schools of colorful fish dart in and out of the underwater vegetation. The sun above reflects off the water surface, casting a magical, dappled light show that dances over the seafloor beneath you. It's an ever-changing landscape that never fails to amaze. Every time you dive, there's something new to marvel at - a rare species of fish, a strikingly patterned sea slug, a hidden cave that's just begging to be explored. There's something uniquely therapeutic about being submerged in this underwater paradise, with nothing but the gentle rhythm of your own breathing and the distant sound of the ocean in your ears. The world above, with all its troubles and worries, seems a million miles away. And when you finally resurface, with the warm sun on your face and the taste of salt on your lips, you can't help but feel a sense of profound peace and satisfaction. It's the kind of simple, pure joy that only snorkeling under the sun can bring.
