Great experience. Jeff at Anchor Tours was extremely knowledgeable and gave us an informative history of the sights on the ride to Peggy’s Cove. Very comfortable and stress free trip. Plenty of time at each stop to explore on our own. We had a wonderful day.

I did a small group tour of Lunenburg and Mahone bay. this was by far one of the best tours I've ever taken. Away from the crowds at Peggy's Cove, beautiful views and a leisurely pace. When in Lunenburg and Mahone bay, our little group of 3 tourists with a guide were the only tourists. this is the way to see this lovely part of Nova Scotia!

The whole experience was wonderful from start to finish. From booking the tour, arranging pickup and the tour itself , everything was relaxing and exactly as promised. Our tour guide (Reg) had a wealth of knowlege of all things Nova Scotia and shared that knowlege in the most pleasant way. Highly recommend Anchor Tours.

Really great excursion! Our guide was Jeff and it was just our small group of 5. He was awesome and waited for me and my dad as we couldn’t get off the ship until 9:30am when the tour time was 9am. Jeff’s knowledge of Halifax was amazing - he narrated a good part of the drive to Lunenburg, talked about the Halifax Explosion of 1917 (!), pointed out all the sights then let us loose for 2.5 hours to explore the beautiful little town and get lunch. On the drive to Peggy’s Cove we were all in a food coma, so he just let us all nod off. Peggy’s cove was breathtaking - we had about 1.5 hours there which was plenty. Gorgeous day and great excursion! Highly recommend!

Jack was a great driver/tour guide. It was nice to have a small van with only 5 of us on the tour. Each of us were picked up at our hotels or cruise ship. It was a lovely drive to Lunenburg. Jack pointed out all of the primary sites then gave us time on our own for further exploration and lunch (great lobster roll at Salt Shaker Deli). He also drove us to a great viewpoint overlooking the town and a quick photo stop looking out to Mahone Bay. Then on to picturesque Peggy’s Cove where we had time to see the lighthouse and wander through the village. All in all a great day with a pleasant, knowledgeable driver/guide, Jack.
