Once you arrive at Peggy’s Cove you will have the opportunity to take a picture with the most photographed lighthouse in Canada - the iconic Peggy’s Cove Lighthouse (also known as Peggy’s Point Lighthouse). Here, you will get free time to explore the beautiful area. This quaint fishing village offers unique, small shops you can explore and great spots at one of their benches to enjoy the stunning ocean views.

Your See Sight Tours Guide will greet you at your downtown Halifax Peninsula accommodations and begin your fully guided tour in the comfort and style of one of our vans. Nilah, our driver/ tour guide was fantastic! Very knowledgeable of the local area, providing us with local history and pointing out key landmarks as we drove the hour to Peggy’s Cove. Allowing us 2 hours to explore Peggy’s Cove on our own was just right (Lighthouse, lobster roll lunch, visiting local shops and plenty of photo opportunities) before we headed back to Halifax.

Thor was very nice and accommodating. He also told us many stories about Halifax and took to few tourist other places on his own around the city. Overall it was a great one day trip and I thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend.

Thor was a wonderful guide. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about Halifax and Peggy’s Cove. The site itself was lovely but when you have great company, it elevates the experience. Highly recommend.

The tour has organized perfectly the pick-up and we left Halifax and driving along the coast. Thor has explained during the journey about Halifax and Peggys Cove with his great knowledge on the history. We had really a lucky weather yesterday and I enjoyed the Lobster Rolls lunch and photo session. On the way back we had the chance to visit distributor for lobster near Peggys Cove. Indeed a nice trip, I like it very much.

We had booked the ‘Peggy's Cove Express Small Group from Halifax’ and got an upgrade offer from Tripshepered to an extended tour that included some other interesting sites that one might otherwise miss. Thor, our tour guide was excellent with providing amazing insights on every site we visited. He went above and beyond to show around many more locations on our way to and from Peggy’s Cove. Would 100% recommend!
