We just can say; amazing amazing. The vieuw. The statue of The Buddha. The monastry, everything is beautifull. Oe, really nice
I was both apprehensive and basically "scared shitless" about taking this cable car as "kinda have a fear of heights". But it's the quickest way down from your Big Buddha experience and offers the most amazing views. At 70 years young, "Push your personal boundaries" is my motto and I was so glad I did, even with an increased wind pressure blowing and swaying our floating cabin. I cannot comment on the cabins with the see-through glass bottoms as there was no way I was getting in them, but I heard they were also a great experience. Definitely worth the time and money - go on, just do it !
It may be pricey and the queue may be long (particularly on weekends and holidays), but taking the Ngong Ping 360 cable is still the best way to go to the Ngong Ping village, the Po Lin Monastery, and the Tian Tan Buddha. It's faster compared to traveling by land and the view is breathtaking (especially if you take the crystal cabin). On weekdays there's usually less people taking it, so you'll have a better chance of having the cabin all for yourself. It's more relaxing and comfortable. No need to buy tickets in advance or online. There are many ticket booths selling it. Highly recommended.
1 hour que for a ticket and then was told another hour + wait to get on. Should be told before que the wait time. Waste of a day
Was a busy Tom sweeping PH , I disnt realized it till that day. It was crowded up there. The queue for the cave car was only 15 minutes in the morning and if you come back earlier in afternoon it’s also ok. Only issue was sharing cabin with over chatty folks with shrill voices that gave me a headache.
