Overview

Explore the  20,000 square metre water park at the entrance to Ötztal – you don't swim and splash around here, no – here you blob, climb, slide at top speed and jump.  This is not a swimming area for non-swimmers and infants, but the most  variety-packed water park for miles around, for everyone who is looking for some thrills. The Water Area includes a Blob, a 27m high Water Ramp for Surfslides and Freeskiers, a 27m high Cliff Diving Tower as well as several slides like a High Speed Slide and a Slip’N’Slide.

And the best thing: All the activities and any special equipment required are included in the entry fee.

we took the Sunset ticket for 3 hours, from 4pm-7pm, a family of 5 with kids 9, 13 and 16 and we all had a wonderful time - and 3 hours where enough. Also, there where almost no lines and wait time which made it event greater. Most slides are for sure extreme, which we loved, the place is clean, in the midde of the most beautiful sincery possibe, and our 9-year old that wasnt able to go on many of the slides, still found enough thrills to have.

We had a great day in the park. We took Megaswing and high ropes. Unfortunately via ferrata was fully booked. If you’re afraid of heights and speed, this is not your place, unless you do sunbathing and let the others take the risk. BOOK IN ADVANCE otherwise you may not be able to do anything.

A waterpark for the adventurous. Larg sunbathing area, a restaurant and bar. Not for small children.

I really enjoyed this place and found it super fun, however I was annoyed that I found women weren’t allowed on a particular slide yet men were? I understand for health reasons but surely make the slide safe for all genders and not just for men? That seemed pretty sexist to me but otherwise the place was ok.

This is a very fun park, in a great location and with many thinks to do. So why, am I rating 1 star? Short answer…because of their ZERO customer empathy. It is unfortunately that whenever issues arises, they are not able/willing to help clients. Area47 did not show any intention to go above and beyond to create a good customer experience, on the contrary, I was very unhappy with the lack of empathy showed from their side. Definitively not an experience to repeat.
