Enjoy classic Japanese experience at our selected restaurants. Local food & drinks as we journey through Tokyo’s busiest area in Shinjuku.

- 7+ mouth-watering Japanese food tastings, enough for a full dinner meal, served from three selected restaurants.
- Drinks to taste great Izakaya style dinner. You may also choose your drinks (Beer, Sake & other drinks). Non-alcoholic beverages are also available.
- Explore Shinjuku visiting famous must-see spots as well as hidden gems. Enjoy unique views of Tokyo’s neon town, Kabukicho. It requires 1~2km of walking.

Please let us know if you have any food restrictions at least a week before the tour date. We cannot accommodate last minute food requests. Vegetarian and gluten free options are limited.

What Can You Expect?

Stop At: Nishishinjuku, Nishishinjuku, Shinjuku, Tokyo, Tokyo Prefecture, Kanto

After meeting the tour group, we will visit 2-3 local izakayas in the area.

Duration: 1 hour 55 minutes

Stop At: Kabukicho District, Kabukicho, Shinjuku Tokyo Prefecture

We will walk thourgh Kabukicho, the downtown area of Shinjuku. We will also visit one izakaya that is popular among the locals

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Shinjuku Golden Gai, 1-1-6, Kabukicho, Shinjuku 160-0021 Tokyo Prefecture

We will end the tour around golden gai.

Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Omoide Yokocho, 1-2, Nishishinjuku, Shinjuku 160-0023 Tokyo Prefecture

We will walk through this iconic alley of Shinjuku

Duration: 5 minutes

    What a way to spend a birthday evening. Max was the perfect host and took us to some amazing places to eat and drink. There was a lot of food, several dishes in some places but everything was absolutely delicious. Overall we had 3 drinks, which were all new to us and we're enough to go with the food. A highly recommended tour, which also included some sightseeing. Thanks Max, for such a great evening.

    We had a wonderful tour round Shinjuku with Ayaka! She is very knowledgeable about both the area and the food. As well as her great company, the food was fantastic. We had around 12 dishes from memory and it was great to try things we wouldn’t typically eat. Thanks so much Ayaka!

    Chizuru was an excellent and knowledgable host for a very enjoyable experience. The food was great and when you are told to arrive hungry, believe the instructions!! Despite the fact that it rained all evening nothing dampened Chizuru’s enthusiasm. We were shown parts of Tokyo culture we would most definitely have missed. Great value and a very enjoyable experience, in good company.

    Had a great tour with Chizuru. She was very friendly and had many tips for the area. She was very helpful during the tour and offered a list of places to go later. The food was good too!

    We had an amazing time on our food tour Chizuru! She did a great job taking us to many different places and explaining the different foods. We received a large amount of differing foods on the tour. I highly recommend doing this tour on your visit to Japan.
