Day 1: Arrival Day

Pass By: Thamel, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
You will be picked up by our representative at airport and you will be taken to your Hotel. An orientation program will be held at the Hotel and you will be escorted for your welcome cultural Dinner.

Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley

Stop At: Swayambhunath Temple, Swayamhu Circle Road, Kathmandu 44620 Nepal
You will visit swayambhunath after your breakfast at the Hotel.

Stop At: Pashupatinath Temple, 44621 Pashupati Nath Road, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
You will visit Pashupatinath temple.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Boudhanath Stupa, Boudh, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal
You will Visit Boudhanath stupa.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Patan Durbar Square, Patan (Lalitpur) 44700 Nepal
You will visit Patan Durbar Square.

Day 3: Day tour of Bhaktapur and Drive to Nagarkot

Stop At: Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Bhaktapur 00977-1-4701148 Nepal
You will visit Bhakatapur Durbar Square.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Nagarkot View Tower, Bageshwori-Nagarkot Rd, Mahamanjushree Nagarkot 44812 Nepal
After the tour of Bhaktapur, you will move towards Nagarkot. Nagarkot is one of the best places to enjoy sunrise, sunset and stunning views of the mountain of eastern Nepal, including Mt. Everest.

Day 4: See the sunrise view from the viewpoint and drive back to Kathmandu

Stop At: Nagarkot View Tower, Bageshwori-Nagarkot Rd, Mahamanjushree Nagarkot 44812 Nepal
Enjoy sunrise over Himalaya early in the morning. After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu at around 10 am.

Day 5: Departure Day

  • Please book your international flight to arrive and depart from Kathmandu international airport. The tour starts when we receive you at airport and tour ends when we drop you at airport or starts a new trip.
  • If you have your own hotel booked in Kathmandu before and after your trip, we will pickup and drop off from your hotel.
  • Please provide flight details as soon as possible
  • Near public transportation
  • There will be two people accommodated in each room for the duration of the tour.
  • You MUST confirm and obtain any visa requirements prior to border crossing. All visa requirements are the sole responsibility of the traveler.
  • Mt. Everest can be visible with clear weather conditions, flights to view Mt. Everest are available directly from local operator
  • Only Nepali rupees are accepted on the tour, it is recommended to bring money for personal expenses
  • A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
  • Guests will have private AC vehicles and its seat will depends on the number of travellers (with four-seater to 14-seater)
  • English speaking guide and driver
  • Most travelers can participate

We can’t recommend Himalayan Social Journey enough. From our email questions prior to our holiday right through to the end of the tour. Ram and Usha were just so friendly and accommodating. Arjun our driver was fantastic and made our journeys so much better. We had the best time on this trip. We also booked a flight over Everest which was arranged perfectly.

We took a 5-day tour with Himalayan Social Journey and the company was very good to work with from the beginning. They gave us their standard package and we asked them to modify it to match our needs they they gladly complied. During the trip we had to waste time to do our Indian Visa and could not visit some places per our itinerary but they let us make it up the next day, From the office personnel to the driver and guides, they are all professional and customer oriented. Their Hotel Holy Himalaya has great breakfast with varieties and the coffee lady was very good at making espresso cappuccino coffee. The only thing we did not enjoy was the cultural dinner/show. We were there two times and they had only three dances.

Once we got outside the Nepal Airport, they were there waiting for us. They were very friendly and accommodating. I asked them if they could take me to Pharping so I could see the meditation cave of Guru Rinpoche and they took me the next day, no hesitation! Going to Pharping wasn't necessarily easy either but there was no question about it. I became friends with them and now I am connected to them through Facebook. When I decide that I want to go back to explore the hiking in Nepal and also see Tibet I will certainly go back to them.

The driver , Mr Victory was excellent, well spoken, explained some of the history , had a great sense of humour . The food was very good and value for money.
