Overview

Auschwitz, a camp of terror, genocide and the Holocaust, was  estabilished in 1940 by Nazis. Located in the suburbs of Oswiecim – at that time a part of Third Reich. Probably it was the largest place of genocide, where almost 1.5 milion people lost life. In 2016 over 2 milion people visited Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum from around the world. They walked through the entrance, “Gate of Death” – the same walk as prisoners did over 70 years ago.

Jacob is a fantastic guide and we really enjoyed spending the day with him. The transport was comfortable and the visit to Auschwitz and the Salt Mine completely met our expectations. I would certainly recommend Jacob to anyone, the whole day was a highlight to our trip.

What a day...incredibly somber, but so important to see and learn. Our guide was spectacular, and even dropped us off at the airport to let us pick up luggage that the airline lost. We would 100% go again. (Certainly sounds off saying this about such a depressing and cursed place).
