Overview

The Panorama Tour visits well known sites in an air-conditioned vehicle with a qualified guide who has good knowledge of the area. Spectacular views of the Blyde River Canyon, and out over the endless Lowveld beyond will not disappoint. Guests are taken along the edge of the escarpment to look out points offering magnificent views, including God’s Window, Wonderview and the Three Rondawels. Along the route guests visit the famous Bourke’s Luck Potholes – deep cylindrical cavities formed by thousands of years of water erosion at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers.

At lunchtime the tour will stop in Graskop for guests to enjoy lunch at a restaurant, and, if time permits, browse the many curio stalls and shops in this little village. South of Graskop, where the Sabie River rises there are many beautiful waterfalls which we will visit whilst making our way back to Hazyview.

Bottled mineral waters are provided during the journey.

Our excellent guide, Bhakefa, gave us an outstanding tour of the panoramic route. It was a misty/cloudy day and he took the time to give us the best possible tour and still had the opportunity to visit every site of the mountain range and rivers. Gorgeous day with the best guide!

Bhekifa was an amazing driver, tour guide, and person. He not only showed us the beautiful Panorama Route safely, but also gave us a true local's perspective on the land and the people. It made our tour and trip complete. Request Bhekifa as your guide! You won't go wrong.

Excellent - we used Elephant Herd for a number of transfers to, from, and between game lodges, and for a couple of full day excursions: the Panorama Route and the Mohoholo dam and wildlife center. Their drivers Sam and Begife were very reliable and professional and we had a great time. The Panorama Route, Elephant Whispers, and Moholoholo areas are well worth a visit. Thank you.

On-time pick-up, nice car and very knowledgeable guide. We were happy to get to know the very best sightings in the region of Hazyview, very interesting explanations and nature itself beats everything else.
