Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve, R543, 2351 South Africa

Start your tour from Hazyview as it climbs towards the town of Graskop, and the southernmost point of the Blyde River Canyon. The Panorama Route encompasses some spectacular scenery, with breath-taking views of the Blyde River Canyon, and out over the endless Lowveld beyond. You'll go along the edge of the escarpment, to look out points offering magnificent views, including God’s Window, Wonderview and the Three Rondawels. Along the route we visit the famous Bourke’s Luck Potholes – deep cylindrical cavities formed by thousands of years of water erosion at the confluence of the Blyde and Treur Rivers.

Pilgrim’s Rest is well worth a visit. This old mining town was established during the heady days of the gold rush in the late 1800’s, and the whole town is now lovingly preserved as a national monument. At lunchtime the tour will stop back in Graskop so that guests can have lunch at a restaurant, and if time permits, can spend a while browsing in local shops or along the pavements. Street vendors sell an amazing variety of goods – from nuts and fruit to beaded necklaces and carved wooden animals. South of Graskop, where the Sabie River rises, and numerous waterfalls tumble down the mountains, we will visit the beautiful Berlin Falls and Lisbon Falls on the way back to Hazyview.

Blyde river canyon and Bourkes luck potholes was ok. God's window and Pinnacle were very fogg . Should have done these in the morning. Pilgrims rest was inaccessible. Guide wasn't really bothered. Always on his phone. Had to pry info off him. Drove too fast. Lunch was rubbish.

From the moment when we were picked up, the friendliness of our host Louis and his mannerisms immediately ensured me that our day was going to be an unforgettable one!!! His knowledge and humour was brilliant! Young man I can only say thank you for making our 5 year anniversary one for the books! I would highly recommend you for any tour to anyone and will ask for you personally on any tours in the future! Thanks for an experience that I have wanted to relive from 29 years ago, a holiday I experienced with my parents and have always wanted to do again, thank you again! Carry on chasing your dreams and being the unique individual you are friend. God bless. You are the reason for success to such an establishment.
